such evil moral depravity is disgusting anywhere
but that it seems to fester at Harvard University is very distressing
WTF is wrong there, anyway?!
Going to GU was one of the best decisions I ever made.
What moron’s that they think this will work. The Wall St firms are not stupid, they can figure out who voted even if its a secret ballot, and they can blackball you without saying it out right.
Or is it just a bunch of spoiled, brainwashed jerks who were brought up to hate?
I understand it fully, seeing “Nie Wieder “ at Dachau. I lit into a candidate for Congress outside the voting precinct, when I saw his “I support Palestine “ button. He really angered me with his faux naïveté, and I called him on it.
Send them to Gaza until they have a change of heart.
So do I. My thought was to connect the dots for these idiots.
My thoughts were to connect the dots for these idiots so they realize what they are doing. My mantra is never again, of course. Also, I also believe that one should be ready to defend themselves if they decide that they want some of the yellow star.
Bill Buckley wrote “God and Man at Yale” in 1951.
The rot was well established by then.
Long time anti-Israel campuses have pushed disinvestment of funds that include Israeli research and other companies in the package.

UM takes action after divestment activists shut down honors ceremony

The Detroit News
Amid ongoing calls for the University of Michigan to divest its endowment funds from Israeli companies that led to the disruption of a time-honored ceremony on Sunday for high-achieving students, university officials took action this week as community members continued to push back.

Student bodies have passed Israel divestment referendum at the University of California at Davis, Brown University and University of Virginia, among other schools. Students have also held hunger strikes and sit-ins to call for divestment.

Incredibly, the woke students all over the country are fighting for and against the investments in Israel. Nothing like “tolerance.”

Talk of hunger strikes on campuses causes panic by Chris Christie and Stacey Abrams.
Aides: Calm down. Take it easy. It’s not required for you to participate. Send a donation to the anti-Israel people.
Harvard needs to be closed down completely for 5 years, fumigated from the board down with all students dismissed and then allowed to start over but on strict probation for 5 years.
No more social degrees either. Just basic under-grad programs and no law school.
I lived through the 1960s when other college students did sit-ins and blocked traffic in marches.
One key was the Communists in other countries including Central and Latin America often saw college students go on strike and then the government might fall. France, Czechoslovakia, Poland and Yugoslavia had general strikes and college protests that changed or nearly brought down the governments.
They stupidly thought the US would do that and end the war.
Not a chance. Despite this: “On May 1970, 4 million students went on strike across the country, shutting down classes at hundreds of colleges, universities, and high schools and demanding an end to the Vietnam War.”
The war and the US system went on.
So are 2024 Americans going to take their advice from young people 40% of whom could not properly place the US Civil War and World War II in proper sequence? And a majority agreed that views with which they disagree should be censored and banned? Fraser Institute poll: Our new poll indicated that 45 per cent of Americans aged 18-24 agree that socialism is the ideal economic system for the U.S.Mar 3, 2023
My guess is that the students are Jewish. They need to transfer to another university. But before they do that, they need to go on the record explaining that Havard is antisemitic and that no one should be funding the University.
Or they can just move to the red states. I do not visit a blue city that often anyway and I'm not Jewish.
Never hire anyone from Harvard.
East coast snob elites and the "old money" defined Ivy League schools. They had their own set of rules, always have.
In flyover states like mine it was a much different story. Still is.
It was 4-0 against the resolution until a post-midnight dump of 7,000 ballots supporting the resolution was mysteriously found in a nearby toilet tank. From those 7,000, 12 were selected to make the outcome seem reasonable.
