I fail to see any purpose in taxpayer funding of public TV or radio. Let them pay their way with telethons, subscriptions or even advertising. Back in the day public radio did provide a nice alternative to the schlock that was available on commercial broadcasting, but today with Internet streaming alternatives public radio and TV have no purpose other than to propagandize on the taxpayers dime.

Berliner just pointed out some obvious examples of NPR’s bias. He’s still a leftist, but now he has been canceled by NPR for being insufficiently left.
Defund NPR, let PBS radio and television support themselves.
