My very liberal nieces started talking about inflation a year ago.
I was pretty shocked!
They will probably still vote for Biden but they are finally beginning to think on their own.
I can’t rent a five bedroom house with a pool for $800 or less in Malibu; therefore, I’m voting for Biden.
AMAZING how no one seems to recall that landlords were forced into RENT FREEZES during 2++ years of COVID.
Their taxes ride-—I rent increase
MANY didn’t pay at all-——eviction freezes-—
BUT LANDLORD is expected to keep paying mortgages & other overhead.
I have owned 3 houses since 1966 & I HAVE NEVER HAD FOOD DELIVERED-—NOT EVEN PIZZA in the city.
Single—female-—living on that “60 something % Less” wage.
The Millennial and Gen Z have an addiction to DoorDash and a phobia about going into a grocery store.
End result is they are paying at least twice what they should for food.
They don’t think of it that way. They won’t even use the word abortion.
They think of it as a woman having control over her own body, her own health care choices, or her reproductive rights.
They really think it’s no one’s business but the woman’s.
If you point out that the practice of ending a human life is every human’s business - for example, if your elderly parents become a burden, you can’t just terminate them and say it’s nobody else’s business.
So, the same should be true in the case of an unborn baby..
But if you try that reasoning on them, they look at you like you are crazy and say “what baby? - it’s just biological tissue - there’s no human life”.
If take the next logical step and ask them at what point in a pregnancy does this biological tissue becomes a developing human baby.. they get very angry and end the conversation.
