With all due respect, this article, Anniston, Pitt and the entire Hollywood scene are an enourmous waste of time and bandwidth. WHO CARES?

First, I agree with you that their opinions are worthless. An idea in Anniston's head would roll around like a bb on a gymnasium floor. However, most of what the general public thinks is influenced largely by the popular media. You don't need to wallow in the popular media, but we do need to keep track of what's going on.
