I have a hyper child and was pressured by a dr to use this toxic poison....I said NO WAY! Needless to say 2 yrs later he out grew his hyperactivity,and we recently found out he is a gifted child( he was probably bored to death in Public school)and to think ...we could have followed a doctors advice and DUMBED-UP & DOPED-UP a intelligent kid! That is a LAZY way to cope w/ a child who requires more stimulation in their environment!!!!!

A week ago, a lady with whom I work mentioned this article, because she was concerned since your son takes Ritalin. She stated that the only reason her son takes Ritalin is because she cannot take his activity. Her husband called from work, she hears her son being active in the background, and she makes a comment to me similar to, "I hear my son in the background. I don't want to go home. I can't take it anymore." That is the only reason children are on Ritalin, folks.
