Condit 'Love Letter' Witness Corroborates Explosive Testimony
NewsMax.com ^ | 9/09/01 | Carl Limbacher and NewsMax.com Staff

Posted on 09/09/2001 8:02:22 PM PDT by kattracks

A mystery girlfriend of embattled Congressman Gary Condit said that he was "stalking her" in a way that left her "scared," according to letters she wrote to a friend that were obtained by the National Enquirer this week.

What's more, the friend of the unidentified Condit paramour, who first went public to Judicial Watch in August, said she was warned that she'd wind up like Chandra Levy if she didn't clam up about what she knows.

"I can make people disappear with a phone call," a close Condit aide allegedly threatened his lover's female pen-pal. Neither woman has been named by the Enquirer or Judicial Watch.

Just last week Susan Borges-Rossi told the Enquirer that during her own affair with the wild-living congressman, he told her he had a "fix-it" team that could make a dead body disappear if necessary.

Four weeks before the latest Enquirer report hit newsstands, Judicial Watch Chairman Larry Klayman revealed news of the latest Condit witness exclusively to NewsMax.com contributor, WABC Radio host Steve Malzberg.

"We've been looking through the information that she provided," Klayman told Malzberg. In letters to her friend, who just happened to be a Judicial Watch client, she "claimed she had an affair with Congressman Gary Condit," Klayman revealed.

"What's significant is that the woman felt threatened - it's in the letters - and that's why we turned them over to the police and the FBI," he added. "She felt as if [Condit] was stalking her, not literally but figuratively."

Klayman told Malzberg that he had informed Chandra Levy's parents of the new development and provided them copies of the Condit mystery girlfriend's correspondence.

The new Enquirer report backs up Klayman's account to Malzberg, with the friend saying that Condit's mystery lover "told me she felt like Condit was stalking me -- and she was terrified."

Adding a new layer of detail to the story, the supermarket tabloid reprints excerpts from the correspondence, such as the mystery woman's disappointed reaction after one Condit assignation.

"Instead of having a nice romantic liaison as I had hoped, he comes to the house here one night and just (expletive deleted) me real quick on the couch. It was very awkward and uncomfortable. I really thought that a man of his age would have learned how to make love to a woman. But he was like a young boy."

The Enquirer identifies the Condit mystery girlfriend only as "an aide to a California politician." But in early August Klayman said the woman got a job with Calif., Gov. Gray Davis after her affair with Condit ended, raising the question, he said, of "whether Davis is performing the role of Bill Richardson during the Lewinsky scandal."

In late 1997, when then-President Bill Clinton was desperately trying to cover up his affair with White House fellatrix Monica Lewinsky, he had then-U.N. Ambassador Bill Richardson offer her a job in New York.

Chandra Levy also worked in Davis' office before she went to Washington.

While Condit's mystery girlfriend is reportedly talking to the FBI, Borges-Rossi had yet to be interviewed by investigators and did not return repeated calls from NewsMax.com.

Careful- you'll have Al Sharpton inciting a mob to lynch you with that kind of talk! Why, we all KNOW that MLK was a Saint- like Mother Teresa, only much, much better!

I really believe that the baseless smear campaign against J. Edgar Hoover (and it's unquestioning acceptance by the Jay Leno's and David Letterman's of the world) is designed to discredit a priori the FBI files on King, and his colorful sex life.

Last week, on Fox News, a comment was made by commentator, that that investigators were now inclined to believe that Chandra may have been attacked and murdered in her apartment and that she was removed from building by someone exiting through the 'parking garage' and they showed a the 'down and under' parking garage of Chandra's apartment house.

Was shocked at this apparent news of a 'turn' of opinion, so to speak, but never saw this offered again, nor has anyone mentioned it.

This would reference, most likely, the two 'blood curdling' screams reportedly heard by a neighbor who called 911. . .and then there is the other story of the apartment security video. . .never checked after 911 call 'aparently', and not given consideration until 'too late'. . .

Anybody else hear of this. . .out there?

I believe the FBI has quite a bit of that information, including audio recordings, which they were kind enough to send to Mrs. King. That's why she looks so bitter all the time. :-)

I don't know about Gandhi, but Martin Luther King's personal life would have been enough to make Condit seem like an upstanding citizen even by today's standards. Maybe if use the standards of middle class America of the 50s for King and those of the swinging 60s hippies for Condit. AFAIK, none of King's paramors disappeared without a trace. Nor do I ever recall anything about him engaging in some of the S&M type stuff Condit's lovers report. King was no saint, that's for sure, but Condit is way out of his league when it comes to being a slime. Both used their "celebrity" status to gain sexual favors. Just like a couple of rock stars.

As far as Hoover goes, the FBI is in many senses his creation. Its institutional "personality" is what he made it. He was a PR man par excellance. The image of the FBI that we all had until fairly recently was what he wanted that image to be, which was not necessarily the same as the FBI really was, even then.

This thread wandered a little (SURPRISE!)- but as far as the "image" of the FBI being largely the product of J. Edgar Hoover's public-relations skills- yes, that is absolutely true. But at least the IMAGE was of an organization that someone seeking a career in law enforcement would be attracted to- and I'm sure that it brought in a lot of good people as FBI Agents. It's hard to fault old J. Edgar for that. (Although he was not a saint, either...)

What woman with a shred of self respect would let herself be treated like that? I know this sounds crass but she should have just had him come over and defecate on her. It would be the same thing and a lot more honest. I am a single woman and believe me I would never allow myself to be degraded like these pathetic Condit groupies have. I will never understand having an affair with a married man.

I think that amount is over his whole lifetime. The difference between $22,000 at his age and $33,000 starting years from was based on the additional income you are writing about.

There could be other information though, it seems like it changes every other day! Thanks

Okay, you can put me in the " old f#@t " catagory. I was an adult when MLK Jr, was killed. It was well known then, that he was a rake, and there have been books, written by several Civil Rights leaders of that time ( I have forgotten their names, so don't ask me ) , in which they enummerate many of King's daliances.

Don't fall for the revisionistic history; ask those who were alive and adults, when something happened !

Just because YOU don't know about this doesn't make ME " wrong" ! Oh, and do NOT use profanity.

I think that one of the author's was Tobert Wilkenson, but I am not posative that that is his name ; which is why I didn't say so in the first place. If I had, then some foul mouthed , incivil, and ill educated person would have come along and screamed that that was the wrong name.

If you REALLY want to disprove what I and others have stated, then YOU go do a serch and disprove it.

I suppose that you will also now say that Jesse Jackson was really there when MLK Jr. was shot, and didn't rush to his side, pushing others away, so that he could be the one cradling MLK in his arms for a photo op .What other revisionistic history would you care to tell us ?

Tabloids have been right almost always about this stuff the last 5 years.

That is because they (tabloids) are the ONLY media still doing so-called "investigative reporting." Mainstream media are largely agenda-edited, to the extent of avaoiding stirring up anything, about the powerful folk (eg. politicos, big bidiness cheats, minority misdeeds of any kind, etc.). PC to the max.
