Barbara Olson Tribute - Tell Her Family Why You Loved Her.
9-11-01 | Bob J

Posted on 09/11/2001 7:16:17 PM PDT by Bob J

I'll start. Everytime I saw you on TV, whenever I picked up your book for a quick reread of a chapter, I drew strength from your convictions and your resolve. I know you are in a better place now, but, I will still miss you. God speed fine lady.

No-one deserves to die the victim of this kind of cowardice. Rest in peace. You, and all the uncounted others ...

You will be avenged.

Barbara Olsen touched our lives. She made a difference. She left us too soon, but as she looks down from Heaven, we'll know that another angel smiles on us and that will give us Peace.

Barbara Olsen was a woman who spoke out in defense of the little ones; she was a Lady against abortion on demand. She ... she will be missed greatly. May God's Grace be with Ted at this deeply sad time. May God be with all the families of those whose lives were ended so shamefully by these sub-human terrorists.

A true patriot and wonderful woman. I felt that I knew her from watching her on TV, a woman who thought the way I did and wasn't afraid to stand up for it.

A true tragedy. My prayers for her family

Let's at least spell her name correctly. It's Barbara OLSON.

Here's hoping we buy her latest book and help it climb to the top of best seller list.

She will be missed. Not only is she a beautiful woman on the outside but a beautiful woman in the inside. This is unusual. I admired her brilliance, patriotism, bravery and truthfulness. We need more like her; not less. Let it comfort you that we all appreciated her and will sorely miss her.

Barbara Olsen was one of the most courageous women I have seen on national television. She was courageous because she took on the Clinton crime machine. Her character revolted at the outrage that is Hillary Clinton...and she was not afraid to make that outrage known.

How badly our nation will miss her intellect, her convictions, and her boldness! My deepest sympathies go out to her husband and to all those who knew and loved her. Our nation has lost a true treasure! God bless all of her loved ones. The best way to honor Barbara Olsen is to resolve that the Clinton Crime machine will be removed from positions of power - through every lawful means possible! I hope and pray that where her one courageous voice is now missing - there will be dozens of others inspired to stand in the gap and say the things Barbara Olsen so couragously said and did!

Hang in there Bob.

I believe Barbara gave our country important information in her phone calls, before she gave the ultimate sacrifice.

She was a fighter for America to the end, and God bless her and her family.

She was one of the few people I know (by TV), who were slain today.

I loved knowing that a woman like Barbara Olson was on our side. She was always gracious, classy and unflappable. No matter how much she was provoked by vicious and amoral people who used the law to promote illegality, like Mark Geragos, she always remained poised and made her points with a look of beautitude.

She was an enormously special woman and one who will have my gratitude and admiration forever.

I never saw her on TV, I'm not sure if I recall reading anything she wrote, but from what I read of what she did today, calling her husband and passing information along, she was a hero, and I wish I could have had the honor of knowing her.

From what others have said, she was sharp and quick-witted. Based on her conduct today, I have no doubt that she had those. I only pray that what information she passed on to her husband helps us trck these folks down and deal with them with the full power and rage we can muster.

I did not know her well enough to love her until I heard of her actions today. Sadly, I learned enough to love her too late to be able to tell her.

Barbara died as she lived - trying to expose the crime, telling the world, and even in death making a difference. As in life, she did in death; she did not shut up and take it, but instead shouted out what was happening in an effort to change the course of events.

Barbara, I saw you over the weekend take fire from some really nasty callers on C-SPAN. You took their barbs with class, and didn't fire back.

You replied to me more than once on FR. It was an honor to "know" you. Rest in peace, dear lady. Comfort to your family.

Just two or three nights ago I was "busying around" and thought I heard her voice on Fox News. I stopped to listen but when it wasn't her, I went back to what I was doing, disappointed.

What she said was always worth taking time to listen to. She was one of those "friends" I never officially met. I'll miss her.

I appreciated Barbara Olson because she was so intelligent and well-spoken. She represented the conservatives so well, she always made me proud. Barbara said the things that I wanted to say. She always kept her cool and presented her (our) arguments calmly and thoroughly without losing her temper or becoming hysterical like the liberal "RATS" always did. Barbara was a lady through and through; but she had more courage to speak the truth than most of our conservative men ever dreamed of having. She will be greatly missed by our party and our country.

I thank God that she was able to show her true courage and unselfishness even in the moments right before her death. She and her family will be in my prayers.

What a wonderful person you produced. She made a difference, she worked and studied to make a difference. In the short life she had, she did so much for her country. She was brave when she was faced with death. She was, simply, brave. Be proud, and love her as we do. She was a gift from God, that enhanced our lives until God decided He needed her more than we did.

Bless you, and keep the memory of Barbara in your heart, as I will.

I loved her quick wit. Very little got past her in a debate, and she had a knack for delivering the most devastating retorts with such irresistable charm, that it must have been delight just to be put down by her. She could think on her feet like nobody else.

Godspeed BKO. I'm proud to have shared this website with you.

Bright, bubbly, beautiful, vivacious, very bright, very bubbly, very beautiful, very vivacious. And scrappy to the very end. What guts to call on her cell phone and give information to her husband. This information will be extremely helpful in solving whodunit, although I think we all know the answer. An eye for an eye. Osama for Barbara. Her husband and family have my deepest sympathy. I am so glad she and her husband were able to talk to one another before disaster struck. So sad. She will be missed by all Freepers.

I watched Barbara with awe on Sunday on C-Span and she handled herself with class. I observed her on several occasions on television and wished that many Americans had the intelligence, class, and insight that she possessed. I cannot believe that we have lost so many today and she one of them. May God be with you and your family, Barbara is in heaven.
