Well, obviously there was a serious intelligence failure, whoever is responsible. "Waiting" reported on Capitol Grilling yesterday that an intel source had told him (her?) that the FBI was informed of the strikes, with the cities, the day before yesterday.

I worked in military intel from 1992 through 1995. Bill Clinton cut our budgets and manpower heavily every year, and gave those resources to HUD and other "touchy feely" agencies. Real intel capabilities walked out the door, some of which could have helped to thwart this attack.

Big Bump.....I was watching Powell this am and it suddenly dawned on me that the reason they haven't declared war is because they already don't have the authority. One of my Senators, Jim Inhofe, was quite blunt in stating that our intelligence capabilities and defenses were substantially down from ten years ago due to lack of funding and the cut backs in the military. Though he didn't name names, the implications is obvious.

On a new line, did any of you get to hear the President's address from the oval office last night? I did and was touched when he quoted that passage from the 23rd psalm. Later I was surfing and caught the same speech on the Communist News Network. Paused to listen and they cut the speech off right when he was going to quote from the Bible!! Why am I not surprised? I wonder if some in the same group who felt "disenfranchised" when Franklin Graham prayed in the Name of Jesus had a hand in this?

The Clinton's turned the CIA, the FBI, FEMA, and every Federal Agency - including our military - into POLITICAL MACHINE PARTS - whose sole purpose was not to protect and defend America and Americans - but to further their goals of attaining and expanding their POWER!!!!!

They were elected in 1992 and 1996 primarily because of Chinese Communists funds (through their agent the Riady's in 92 and through massive infusion of funds as has been well documented here on FR in 1996).

The Chinese got what they paid for! A weakened America!

Clinton's treacheries and betrayals left our intelligence capabilities decimated and our military frighteningly weak compared to that which he inherited in 1992.

The Clintons became friends with Jerry Adams of Sein Fein and Yasser Arafat of the PLO and with the Moslem Albanian Terrorists. They were friends with all of the world's communist "terrorists" leaders. That is because the Clinton's are/were a CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION with terrorist tactics (used often against their enemies in this country - and, in Yugoslavia - abroad).

Yes, the Clinton's and their DNC communist/socialist comrades are to blame for what happened and they are to blame for the restrictions that President Bush and the military now face in reacting rightly to this terrorist attack on our country. President Bush has only had 9 months to begin the rebuilding, cleaning out process. That is not enough time to give us the tools we need - and our enemies - who had been coddled and nurtured by the Clintons - KNEW IT!!!!!!

I cannot tolerate one second of seeing the traitorous face of Hillary Clinton and her Demoratic toadies in the midst of this heinous attack news coverage. She should be under arrest and sitting in a jail cell - along with Bubba.

I'm just tired of both Clintons and want them to leave the limelight. When Hillary got up to speak yesterday, my nerves went on end.
