Jennings has been sitting their talking to ABC "correspondent" Stephanopoulos - - a Clinton political hack - - giving this hack all kinds of deference - - - - but he sniffs at Karen Hughes as a "political operative." I believe her title is Communications Director. Mr. Jennings, Why shouldn't a communications director be communicating on behalf of the administration? Andrea Mitchell did the same thing Tuesday on MSNBC. She was badmouthing our President for not being as "good" with words as Clinton was.

Here's a copy of the email I sent to MSNBC:

I cannot believe your network aired Andrea Mitchell badmouthing Pres. Bush today of all days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She said Clinton could have soothed the nation better because he has a better way with words. How dare she use this situation to slap Pres. Bush in the face while he's trying to handle this horrible attack on our nation!!!! This is a time for all Americans to pull together.......guess you folks at MSNBC don't want to be instrumental in helping us do that!

You should fire her at the least, and more appropriately chastise her on the air unless you all agree with her statements.

Xena's Mom's best friend Karen gave me two shares of Disney stock for high-school graduation; thanks to splits, I now own 24.

I'm on the phone with Disney Investor Relations right now. I shall ask them how to dump my shares as quickly as possible solely and utterly because of Jennings.

After a three-minute canned-opera hold, the nice Shareholder Services lady told me I'll have to write a letter to get new certificates, and then my local broker can dump it. I'll take probably a 40% long-term capital loss on the stock, but I'm happy and proud to do it.

I tried calling this number...the lady keeps forwarding the phone to ABC NEWS. Evidently,DISNEY doesn't really care about how it affects their stock.

I say everyone sell as much of Disney as you can now.

I have to agree with this. I didn't hear Jennings, because I haven't watched him for a long time. And any network that considers Stephanopoulos a "correspondent" is way outside my tolerance level.
If we all just ignore the network, that should eventually cure the problem. They need ratings to get advertisers, and without advertisers, they go broke.
I might suggest that anyone who actually watches Jennings should contact the advertisers. They might pay attention.
