just put the url in between the code paul554 just posted, you should "see" the picture in the preview.

To get the right url you need to click you mouse over the image and select properties....copy and paste the code you get, that's your url

If it's on your hard drive, it won't work. It has to be uploaded to the web somewhere. However, sites like Angelfire, etc., won't allow you to put them here.

OPH, while you're at it, could you help me with something? I recently joined the Photopoint website and have been trying to figure it out. I mean, I downloaded a picture into my account just to try it out, but the pic was not automatically converted to .gif or .jpg. How do I make my pics .gif or .jpg files?

Hell, the reason I joined Photopoint was because I had a bunch of pics on my hard drive that were not properly formated and just figured that Photopoint automatically formated them for me.

Yeah, if you need to get the URL or "address" of the photo, you have to right click on the pic and then go to Properties. That should give the address. Simply copy and paste that address in the body of the tag I showed you.

MFH,

A little additional info:

If your pic is on the web then just right-click on it open it in a new window and select and copy the "Location" info (http:// ...) and paste as noted in between the quotes.

< img src="http://www.theplace.com/image.jpg" >

If you have a pic you wish to post - not already on the net:

You have to transfer your pic to a server "on" the net. Most web accounts give you 5MB+ of space on the server for your web page.

Your web page address is likely: http://www.your-isp.com~yourusername/

The tilde "~" is likely to the left of the "1" key and above the Tab key.

The best program to transfer files to the server would be WS-FTP.

Freepmail me if you want to post your own stuff.

G-d Bless America.

Also look for the HTML sandbox at FR.

What am I doing wrong?
