We have been told to go home and stay there. Not asked TOLD. This war will only stop when we seek and destroy the perpetrator or surrender. This enemy will never consider your status as a civilian or military before he kills you or your loved ones. Go ahead fight another Vietnam type war. This time however; you will be fighting on your own soil. You will loose and I shall die. I truly believe in that motto "LIVE FREE OR DIE."

This is a high tech war. For the first time we will take casualties on our own soil. 5000 have already died. To save lives swift and fearless action must occur NOW!

"The more we heat up the war effort, the more unpatriotic and disloyal those people who have a view against it will appear,"

Yeah, and the more a duck quacks, the more it appears to be a duck. These people ARE unpatriotic and disloyal. Hey! Does anybody have that quote from the American Revolution? I don't remember it exactly, but it said something about if you want to lick the fingers of the tyrant in hopes of peace, go your way, and let us forget you were our countrymen?

You are so naive. Let me know when the criteria for who we are at war with is publicized.

This is a war alright, it's a war on us, but you (and numerous others) don't know it because you are easily diverted.

Is it this one? One of my favorites.

"Contemplate the mangled bodies of your countrymen, and then say, 'What should be the reward of such sacrifices?' Bid us and our posterity bow the knee, supplicate the friendship, and plough, and sow, and reap, to glut the avarice of the men who have let loose on us the dogs of war to riot in our blood and hunt us from the face of the earth? If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!" --Samuel Adams

You, on the other hand, are very good at it. I read his post, and I don't know what the H*ll he's talking about.

Increasingly, you appear less and less lucid. Your posts reflect an individual with worsening symptoms of mental illness. I strongly suggest you seek professional attention to these disturbing signs of dementia.

Right; "go thou," second person singular imperative. I as an individual am to show mercy to people in my path who need help.

That is why, when wronged, the individual is told by Jesus (through Paul) not to avenge himself, but to "leave room for the wrath [of God]," in Romans 12:19, as God will take vengeance...

...and then in the very next chapter we are told by Jesus, through Paul, that it is the proper role of the civil authority to act as a servant of God in executing his wrath on evildoers (Romans 13:4).

So, as I say, I still see nothing Christian at all in the people cited.

Anybody mouthing these sentiments should be treated as a collaborator. We all know what happens to collaborators in war time.
