U.S. intelligence officials are investigating ties between the terrorists who carried out suicide airliner attacks and associates of Osama bin Laden based in Albania.

The connections were described as support for the terrorist operation to hijack U.S. commercial jetliners and crash them into the Pentagon and the World Trade Center, according to U.S. intelligence officials.

"In Albania there is no longer an Islamic threat," Mr. Mema was quoted as saying. "This country is no longer a refuge for Islamic terrorists." And we bombed the Serbs.

Theres a saying in Macedonian that goes something like: "You plant pumpkins in the field with the devil, and one day he will smash these very same pumpkins off your head"....

Quite ironic that the US sided with bin laden (who turned on them) and with the Albo terrorists (who are starting to turn on them)..... Time to join the right side America.....

Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan Visits Albania (06/12/2000) Foreign Minister Tang Jiaxuan paid an official visit to Albania from Dec. 4 to 5, 2000. During the visit, Albanian President Meidani, Prime Minister Meta and Speaker of the People’s Assembly Gjinushi met with him respectively. Tang conveyed the cordial greetings from President Jiang Zemin, Chairman Li Peng of the Standing Committee of NPC and Premier Zhu Rongji to them. When meeting with President Meidani, Tang said that China-Albania relations have developed very well, adding that bilateral contacts and cooperation have become more dynamic than ever and the two countries have same or similar views on many major international issues. He noted that China stands ready to further promote its relations with Albania in the new century in the spirits of seeking common ground while reserving differences and in spite of differences in social system, ideology and value system. Tang hailed Meidani’s visit to China last December as a great success and said that the visit helped to push the bilateral relationship featuring friendliness, equality and mutual benefit to a new high. Meidani spoke highly of the development of bilateral relations following his visit to China and he also positively appraised the progress that has been made in some of the cooperation projects between the two countries. He was convinced that Tang’s visit will further promote bilateral cooperation in all fields. He also voiced the hope that the two countries can step up high-level visits and enhance contacts and exchanges between the entrepreneurs of the two countries and in the fields of culture and technology. He added that Albania is particularly interested in expanding economic and trade cooperation with China. He thanked China for its assistance to Albania in its economic development. Tang conveyed a letter from Chairman Li Peng to Speaker Gjinushi, in which Li invited Gjinushi to visit China next year. They said that the contacts and exchanges between the NPC of China and the People’s Assembly of Albania should be intensified so as to further promote the in-depth development of bilateral cooperation in all fields. When meeting with Prime Minister Meta, the two sides exchanged views on how to promote the all-round and in-depth development of China-Albania relations in the new century. Tang also held talks with Albanian Foreign Minister Milo. Milo expressed satisfaction over the progress that has been made in Albania-China relations in recent years, adding that bilateral relationship is at its historically best period. Agreeing with his appraisal, Tang noted that the traditional friendship between the two friendly countries has remained unchanged in spite of the changes that have taken place in both countries and in the world at large since the two countries established diplomatic ties more than half a century ago. He added that the Chinese government and people will never forget that Albania made contributions in expelling Taiwan from the United Nations and helping China restore its legitimate seat in UN. He noted that the Chinese government and people values the friendship with Albania and stands ready to further consolidate and develop the friendly relations and cooperation with Albania in politics, economy, culture, education and others on the basis of mutual respect, seeking common ground while reserving differences, equality and mutual benefit. He was convinced that China-Albania relations enjoy bright prospects. Tang went on to say that China is willing to conduct economic and trade cooperation with Albania in even more fields in accordance with the principles of market economy and on the basis of equality and mutual benefit. He believed that with the constant deepening of China’s reform and opening-up and the improvement of Albania’s domestic economic situation, the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries will enjoy great opportunities and broad prospects for further development. Milo said that Albania stands ready to intensify its cooperation with China in all fields, in the field of economy and trade, in particular. He also welcomed more investment from and greater cooperation with China. The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern. During Tang’s meeting with Albanian leaders and talks with Albanian Foreign Minister, the Albanian side reiterated its adherence to the One China policy. President Madani said that Albania supports the Chinese government in resolving the question of Taiwan using “One Country, Two Systems” and supports the measures that the Chinese government has taken on this question. Foreign Minister Milo reaffirmed that Albania supports the principled position of the Chinese government on the question of Taiwan and will not establish official ties or conduct official contacts with Taiwan in any form. He said that the position of Albania on this question is unshakable and will remain unchanged. Tang expressed appreciation and gratitude to the Albanian government for its principled One China policy. During the visit, the two sides also issued the Joint Communique between the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Albania. Dec. 6, 2000

Intelligence sources have turned up their real identity: they were Palestinian-Americans. Atta was implicated in a series of bus bombings that hit Jerusalem in 1996. He evaded Israeli capture by going to ground among his relatives in America. The US authorities at the time turned down Israel’s request to extradite this US national. Sources further identify Atta as the scion of a prominent, affluent family in El-Bireh, Ramallah, one of whose members is a former mayor and most of whom carry American citizenship, as do many elite Palestinian families in Ramallah and its environs.

Bin Laden has been training islamic terrorists in Kosovo and Albania for years

You're right, someone posted an article from a London paper that was at least two years old, that included all this information.

Now, let us consider some of the ramifications of this information. First of all some of the former CIA members have been coming forward and stating that Clinton could have gone after Bin Laden, but was afraid of the polls (they knew where he was)if he failed. Second, the oil pipeline through Kosovo played a big part in the war effort(according to inside information from an oil executive). Third, this pipeline is to supply Germany and other European countries with oil.

So, is there any doubt why some of our allies are beginning to back off the agreement to help us fight Bin Laden?

Doesn't the MPRI rate honorable mention on this topic?

If we lose the "Albanians" as allies, the price of heroin is going through the ceiling in Europe and the USA. The product originates in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Turkey.

Rather strange that up until last Tuesday, Afghanistan wasn't on the list of 'terrorist sponsoring' states. Thus they evaded sanctions of different sorts.

There is a good reason why the media uses the term "Ethnic Albanians," as opposed to "Muslims."

If the "Ethnic Albanians" sieze Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo, Cheney's old outfit, "Brown & Root" loses a huge contract.

Of course, it's impolite to mention the proposed Caspian Sea oil pipeline through the Balkans, also.

Conveniently forgotten is that the training in Afghanistan was predominately sponsored by Pakistan with the assistance of the CIA, both in arms supplies, indirect training and financial assistance.

Quite amazing how the USG's support of every "freedom fighter" ends up in a conflict with those assisted. Kind of like training tigers and having them bite your head off the moment you "forget" to feed them. I put that in quotes because too often the CIA abandons military principles in favor of dubious political maneuvering.

He posted a couple of interesting articles in the past few days but has been very quiet otherwise:

I'm not sure what his relationship is with Beaufort County Now but those above editorials are from that site.

Anybody still thinks we sided with the good guy when we bombed Serbia?

And does anyone still think that I am a "Serb propaganda artist, working our of Belgrade"? Or that my warnings about muslim fifth columnists and terrorists here in the US were paranoid or merely designed to stir up hatred?

I hope that we Americans can all bind up our wounds, roll up our sleeves, and work to defeat our shadowy and implacable islamic enemy. And that we can rehabilitate Serbia as what it has always been--OUR TRUE AND NOBLE ALLY!!!

I think in the coming weeks you will find very little criticism from the mainstream press for the Kosovo Liberation Army. Attempts to provide linkage between the followers of Albanian nationalism and the Islamic entente are a hopeless reach at best by a Slavic fringe element that still do not understand the true relationship between the US and the KLA.

Many months ago several threads discussed Camp Bondsteel as a possible modern day Dien Bien Phu -- to the yawns of most. Realists merely need to understand that Camp Bondsteel represents the greatest concentration of American troops within long range missile attack radius of US enemies -- and that the KLA's liberation of the Tetovo Republic has greatly increased the Southern security perimeter for this encampment.

If Camp Bondsteel becomes a target of any coming war then you can be assured it will not be hit by a primitive multiple rocket launch system from the liberated zone of the Tetovo Republic. In addition it is likely that several score KLA fighters will become part of any American light ground forces that go into Afghanistan.

You see, they have been fighting in mountains for years -- and many have experience directing NATO airstrikes during the Kosovo war. America about to reap the dividends of training and equipping the descendents of Ancient Illyria all these years...

As usual the Slavic apologists are so wrapped up in their mindless hate they are unable to grasp the realities of a new world that was born long before a week ago. Then again, that is often the case with "civilisations" in their decline...

The forces of freedom on the move. Europe trembles.

Another thing keeps running through my wicked little head. Do you recall the business deal Roger Clinton had importing drywall from United Arab Emerites??(ck spelling?)I heard on the news that 2 of the hijackers had passports or were from there. May mean nothing, but NOTHING would surprise me. NOTHING at this point. Take care my friend.

I gave you a friendly warning last Tuesday to find a deep hole and go hide in it for a long, long time. I see that you did not heed it. So much the worse for you!!!

The "slavs" (as you call them) and us Americans have had the same REAL enemy for a long, long time--the muslim supremacists, working for muslim world domination!! The vast majority of the American people are waking from their long slumber to realize that fact. Very, very soon, any politician who pushes New World Order schemes involving collaboration with muslim supremacists and their terrorist thugs like the UCK will be TOAST!!!!

This is not over yet--not by a long shot. Every week, things will get worse and worse around here for muslim extremists, muslim fifth columnists, muslim shills, and muslim sympathizers. And even an ATTEMPT at another terrorist atrocity will make things get much, much worse for them even faster!!!!

By the way, you can call "Slavic symapthizers" like me by the name that really stands for the reason why we are pro-Serbian, etc.---CHRISTIANS!!!!

So Hoplite refuses to accept even the slightest connection between the humanitarian warriors funding, training, & support for Bin Laden's Mujhadeen in Bosnia & in Kosovo and the fact that these very same Muja were able to murder 5,000 Americans.

Humanitarian Warriors......tell my missing friends...http://www222.pair.com/dfbacon/wtc.html........that it was worth them losing their lives to occupy Bosnia, Kosovo, and Macedonia.......please explain to the stunned people all over my city looking at taped up photos of lost loved ones......

Humanitarian Warriors, your reckless amatuerish meddling has directly led to the deaths of 5,000 Americans......please tell us why it was necessary ?

I was speaking of the oil pipeline, that was one of the major reasons that Clinton fought the war in Kosovo, to provide an endless supply of non-OPEC oil to Europe. It is probably one of the reasons that BP was donating to the DNC (not the GOP), as well.
