It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we have to report to you the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter William Thomas Miller, Jr., IAFF Local 786, Stamford, Connecticut. Brother Miller died yesterday, Wednesday, September 19, 2001, of Hepatitis C.

Funeral arrangements will be provided as soon as they are complete.

It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we have to report to you the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter Linda A. Hernandez, IAFF Local 1403-Miami-Dade County, Florida. Sister Hernandez died yesterday morning, Tuesday, September 18, 2001, of Hepatitis C.

Visitation for Sister Hernandez will be held tomorrow, Thursday, September 20, 2001, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the Van Orsdel Funeral Home, 11220 North Kendall Drive, Miami, Florida 33176, (305) 279-6644. The funeral will be held on Friday, September 21, 2001, at 1:00 p.m., at St. Louis Catholic Church, 7270 SW 120th Street, Miami, Florida, (305) 238-7562. Interment will follow at the Cabalaro Woodlawn Cemetery, 11655 SW 117th Avenue, Miami, Florida, (305) 238-3672.
