I'm doing the A10 next...got any good pics?

I also have some awesome little mpegs of A10, AC130, AWACS, B1B, B2, B52, C130, C17, F15C, F15E, F16C. I just don't have the space to host them on the internet.

The A-10's saw plenty of service in the gulf war, and they will be kicking some Osamma Bin Laden Butt if I don't miss my guess here. Oh no, the warthog is alive and well, and their pilots LOVE them!!! :)

Are those mines that the B1 is dropping? Great pics! The third pic will not come up. Can you repost?

Thanks in advance.

I was a Munitions Systems Specialist supporting A-10s at RAF Bentwaters/Woodbridge until deactivated in 1993. They were moved to Davis Monthan, AZ and Pope, NC. Still on active duty, although in MUCH less numbers (The A-10, not me.)

The 30mm shells where hell to process for practice, but they were a beautiful sight in action!

Yeah, they might be CBU-89 mines or -87 submunition/cluster bombs. I only posted two pics in the original message...but let me see if I can add a couple more here for ya.

Lots of CBU-87/89s left over from the Gulf. Must be close to the end of shelf life. Use'em or lose'em!

B1-B

I have some pretty good pictures that I took of the Bones (B-One) during Oshkosh. The first time they did their passes, I didn't expect them and nearly dropped my camera. The picture looked like something that Stevie Wonder would take.

Second time around, I put my headsets on, stood on the wing, and tracked them. Got some excellent shots. DANG, they roar!
