According to my wife (a doc) there's no profit in it for the drug companies, so she and I both think the gov't should launch into a crash program to produce several hundred million doses of smallpox vaccine, and pronto. The risk is too great not to!

She and her colleagues are talking about it a lot, and pressure on Uncle Sugar to do something about it is going up fast. With any luck, you and your son, and all the rest of us will be able to get vaccinated again in the not too distant future. Question is: Will it be too distant?
