John Kerry needs to wake up and smell the coffee. His office was notified by Brian Sullivan, former intelligence agent, about the LACK OF SECURITY AT BOSTON'S LOGAN AIRPORT.

Kerry, the liberal JUNIOR Senator from Tax-a-chusetts decided NOT to answer Mr. Sullivan. What happened? Well, 2 of the 4 hijacked planes on September 11 came from BOSTON.

Now Kerry's office says the senator "passed Mr. Sullivan's concerns on to the Transportation Department." Yeah right. That doesn't pass the SNIFF test, but NOBODY is talking about it, except for JOHN GIBSON on FOX NEWS.

I think the under the adreniline and stress of the WTC attack, some people in the know are having some loose lips. There are several theories about what happened. Link below is to the theory that a meteor exploded on entering the atmosphere and a piece of the debris struck the plane and ignited the fuel tank.

The guy who had been the FBI's SAIC in New York and who led the investigation into the TWA 800 crash, referred to the attack on the WTC "the first terrorist attack on the USA since TWA 800."

In my experience, they all pass it on. If you write your congressperson with a legitimate grievance, they pass it on to the "controlling authority." That's what they do. Nothing new here. Guess John Gibson hasn't had much experience with this. I have.

Actually, the CIA has speculated, with some minimal evidence, that the introduction of West Nile Virus into the US may have been an attempt at bio-terrorism. It's a plausible theory. Don't have time to find links, but it was discussed on FR in 1999.

I think infecting the US with a small flu like virus would be what the terrorists want: wide scale panic. Nose a little drippy? Oh no you have The Disease. Run on hospitals, medecine, etc. Everyone's in a frenzy.

Based on all of the information I've digested over the last two weeks, I am now convinced that TWA Flight 800 was shot down by the U.S. military to prevent an attack similar to what we saw on September 11th.

Under the light of today's circumstance, it think it is fairly obvious that Air Egypt was. Add to this that planes just don't fall out of the sky, that most major incidents are tied to takeoff or landings, and all 3 are in question.

Maybe, but the timing if its introduction into NYC puts it higher on a probility curve as a form or terrorism, than it would be if it had been introduced in say 1956.

Actually if you listen to a lot of the talking heads on TV this week, they lead one to believe that any type of bio-warfare would unleash maladies which are a step above a nuisance illness. The real fear is chemical warfare i.e. cyanide, sulfuric acid etc.

Most of the the things I've read seem to indicate that a large-scale biological or chemical attack is not all that easy to carry out. The sarin gas attack in the Tokyo subway a few years ago was used as a prime example -- that group had been trying for months to do something much more devastating, but the chemical and/or biological agents they used were simply not effective unless they could be delivered at high concentrations and in large quantities.

They "settled" on the sarin attack because it was the only one that worked.

I have been saying that indeed SwissAir (UN guys on board), Egypt Air, TWA 800, Concorde (all out of or headed to JFK) and also several other 'crashes' were all terrorist. Alaska Airlines (going to SFO), Taiwan, Phillipines and several others 'just exploded'.

Note that almost all of these occurred AT LOW ALTITUDE, JUST OFFSHORE. JETS ARE SITTING DUCKS FOR STINGER MISSLES. YES STINGER MISSLES. I HAVE SAID THIS FOR YEARS. THE LINK TO THE AFGHANIS IS SO F*CKING OBVIOUS. YET THE MEDIA WILL NOT MAKE THIS LINK -- EVEN NOW. THERE ARE NO WARNINGS ABOUT STINGER MISSLES SHOOTING DOWN PLANES. WHY??? THESE MISSLES ARE MADE TO SHOOT DOWN MILITARY, EVASIVE, FAST AIRCRAFT. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO MISS A PASSENGER JET WITH THESE MISSLES.

THE NEXT TERRORIST ATTACK WILL BE ANOTHER STINGER AND AN UNEXPLAINED EXPLOSION. BECAUSE THE GOVT. NOW KNOWS THAT THE PUBLIC WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER ABSURD STORY, THEY MOST LIKELY WILL NOT EVEN REPORT THE NEXT SUCH ATTACK.

The only upside of this attack is that people will finally wake up - and that real estate prices in Hawaii will fall dramatically.

I am now very very anxious to hear a little discussion from these same folks about the OKC bombing. Remember all of the talk about the Islamic Terrorist Types right after the bomb went off? Sure disappeared fast didn't it? Wouldn't it just be rich if our old buddy Clinton decided to cover this one up just like he did with the TWA800 (missile) bombing since there was so much more poltical capital to be mined by blaming it all on those right wing extremists.

And consider the alternative. If it were proven that there was a bin Laden connection to OKC, Clinton would have been in exactly the same position as Bush is now. Although he seems to yearn for the "Place in History" that will certainly be earned by Bush, Clinton didn't (and doesn't) have the stomach for the War on Terrorism that Bush will effectively and efficiently carry out.

Just some food for though: We've had three major attacks on buildings in this country. The original WTC bombing, the OKC bombing and the 9-11 WTC attack. What have we heard lately from those dangerous right wing militia types who supposedly plotted and schemed to blow up the OKC fed building? Any more bombings planned by those guys? Doesn't look like it does it? What have we heard from the radical Islamic terrorists? You name it and we've heard.

Maybe there is a common thread running through all of these strikes against America.

Sorry but that doesn't hold water... we have all but the last 4 seconds of the Cockpit Voice Data Recorder and there was no indication of hijacking or anything else untoward except a fuel flow meter acting a tad strangely. We have the recorded conversations between the crew of TWA800 and Air Traffic Control as well that show no unexpected events until the plane blew up.

Since the missile was launched (according to eyewitnesses) at least 15 seconds prior to the destruction of the aircraft, any knowledge of a hijacking or terrorist event would have had to have been known prior to that... and it is not supported by the evidence.

WHAT IS SUPPORTED by the evidence is that TWA800 was shot down by one or two missiles.

I dooubt all of these incidents involved Stinger missiles, especially the Concorde crash in France. The damned thing had barely even left the ground and it was already burning.

Also, I would ask why these terrorists never bothered to shoot down passenger aircraft taking off from or landing at an airport in Israel. Wouldn't it be much easier to just sit somewhere on the West Bank and squeeze off a few of them just for the hell of it?

I agree that some of these crashes occurred under very suspicious circumstances, though. The number of "unsolved" plane crashes originating in Kennedy Airport is astounding, especially when you consider that they were able to determine the cause of that ValueJet crash in Florida even though there wasn't a single piece of wreckage larger than a dime.
