I only caught the last 40 minutes or so...I think I was caught in a temporal rift, I thought yesterday was Wednesday and that I had already missed it, so I almost missed it again...
Anyway, I liked the special effects, and the fact that the crew seemed to be surprised by some of them. I think they are still a little stiff (and I'm NOT talking about T'Pol's anatomy) so time will tell.
Speaking of T'Pol's anatomy...Vulcan or not, it is just NOT normal for your waist to be smaller than ONE of your breasts.

**Hope you are flying Southwest Airlines, **

Am I to assume you're with Southwest Airlines?

My sister and family fly to Orlando on Friday via Southwest. We'll be following suit in latter October...same airlines.

Thank you all for your prayers!! I'm off now, and if I can get to a computer (that is if I have time!), I'll let you know that I arrived safely. Otherwise, I'll let you know when I get home!

I am feeling very good about going now. I have confidence in the airlines (sorry, it's not Southwest!), in my country, in my President, but most importantly, in my LORD!!

(btw, you people are terrific!! And thanks, MYJ1288 for that article! I think our President may be a Josiah for our nation, who is used by God to turn our hearts back to HIM!)

It could be frightening at first glance but then one is comforted seeing all the American flag pins on lapels.

ohioWfan--

will keep you in my thoughts & prayers -- enjoy visiting with your children.
BTW-yesterday you asked about the "Lassie" show (where my sis & I kissed the screen), I think it was the one with Timmy--maybe we didn't have a color TV yet ?

Lemondropkid31--

Re: Pic # 5... (What was Barney doing? Did the President throw him down?)
It looks like Pres. Bush is trying to "levitate" Barney, using telekinetic powers...LOL :)

Re: Pic # 11 ("A Charge to Keep" question)
I'll bet you're right...I've read that the President has that painting in his office

lawgirl--

I agree, W & Scott Bakula--that's just too much hunkiness on one thread !
I saw the premiere of Enterprise last night, I'd give it about a 9 ! Good story, good special-effects, cool submarine-type ship interiors, interesting cast (very "PC", but that's okay), well-written with a tough-talking, shoot first then ask questions, manly captain (well, perhaps not quite as manly as Capt. Janeway).
The only real "minus" was the gratuitous gel-rubbing scene between two crew-mambers in their skivvies (one of them a female "Vulcan" with frankly unbelievable breasts and "puffed-up" lips-I didn't realize the Vulcans had invented silicon) and a lot of repressed sexual-type tension between Bakula and above -mentioned Vulcan.
Big PLUS for the adorable beagle dog (Porthos) that Captain Archer has aboard-very cute !

Rintense - Thanks for the ping. And thanks again for your loyal dedication to this thread.

MJY1288 - WOW! What a great article. Wouldn't you just love to be in the room just once to see President Bush professing and excerising his faith this way? I remember in his book, "A Charge to Keep", that he said he used to teach Sunday School at his church. I'd give anything to see him do that now. What an inspiration he is. He truly is God's chosen leader for this time.

God bless you President and Mrs. Bush and your family. May God grant you the wisdom, strength and endurance to deal with this critical situation and may you always look to Him for leadership.

Dear Heavenly Father: Continue to shower your grace and mercy on President and Mrs. Bush. Place your protecting hand over them and their family. Let your countenance shine over the Bush Administration and give them peace and knowledge to put your will into action here in America and abroad. Watch over our military and our allies. Watch over them and lead them in Your path. Grant them wisdom, strength and courage to endure this crisis for America, and please continue to bless this nation. In your name I pray. Amen.

rintense, I'm late with the thank-you, but it's just as heartfelt. Sorry to say that it looks like our President was weary that day. We pray for him every day and will continue to do so.
