AOK PJ. The Shrew and Ironjack handle individual requests for interviews, but, if I were you I'd go directly to the show hosts and cut out the middleman!

Of course I can easily get on Robert K "B-1 Bob" Dornan's show anytime I want since I hold blackmail material on him. If Dornan doesn't do exactly as I say, I have threatened to make available free copies of a video of "The Starfighters" in which he played Lt. John Witkowski. And if you ever saw "The Starfighters" you know that holding copies of that movie definitely rates as blackmail material.

There will be several other serial show hosts plus many doing one shot issues. CongressmanBillBob will be, well, CongressmanBillyBob. John Bender will do 2nd amend and I am talking ot FReeper right now to cover conservative educational issues. I am assuming we will be getting many applications for additional "issue" oriented shows of interest to FReepers and conservatives!

I have great confidence in Anna and Merc! I'm sure their show will be topical, irreverent and probably a little controversial!

Maybe you could use that blackmail material to do YOUR OWN show with B-1 as a guest!

In any endeavor, one has to rely on the good sense of your team members. I've known Anna and Merc for a long time and trust them. Show hosts will have the latitude to do the kind of show they want, but I've asked them not to take any Forum battles to RadioFR. Their goal is to put on a good, informative and interesting show. I think that is the FReeper way.
I would assume there will be shows that you like more so than others. We plan on having a broad range of opinions expressed in the programming, which are being developed at this moment. If you don't like the issues covered by A&M, I'm sure next week you'll find CongressmanBillyBob more your cup of tea.
Hang tight, keep an open mind and remember, it's just a radio show!

BTW - A&M and I agree and disagree on many issues (Anna and Merc disagree on some...heheh). However, we've never come to serious violence (heheh) about it because we trust and respect each other. I think FReepers agree on basic conservative principles, but, we're are going to have to allow each other to disagree on the some if we're ever going to have a shot at changing the political and social direction of this country.

Windows 98 ships with version 6.4 Don't upgrade!
The later versions are CPU & RAM hungry-- classic MS bloatware. You can download updated codecs as needed, but keep 6.4 it should do everything you need it to do... newer, isn't always better.
I forgot to add: Uninstalling WMP 7.0+ and getting 6.4 to work properly again can be extremely difficult.

I can wait until hell freezes over and windoze media player won't come up in Linux. I REALLY hate booting windoze, but in this case......

I see it all now: "The Lowbridge Show!"

I would love to participate. I was a DJ in the early 1980s and I have often thought about getting back into radio. I was originally discussing this FR TalkRadio idea with Agitator a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, my schedule pretty much demands an early-morning or weekend time slot. Is that a possibility?
