I remember once the BBC did a "survivor" type program, where people lived in a round house similar to that of ancient Brittons. They ate, drank and slept like their primitive ancestors, and except for one family who got sidk and left, they all spoke of how wonderful it was.

However, down in the article it mentioned one modern convenience that was allowed: Birth control pills. You see, modern women won't have 15 babies a piece like their ancestors.

So if the nice prof wants to live in a cave, that's fine. But I bet he'll have trouble finding a woman who will put up with it: it's women who like civilization, and men without women get very very lonely....
