JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) -- More than 2,000 people shouting anti-American slogans marched in Indonesia's capital on Friday, the largest of several recent rallies against a potential U.S.-led attack on Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, a newspaper reported Indonesia's central bank has refused to comply with U.S. demands to freeze assets linked to Osama bin Laden.

What the heck are Americans still doing in Indonesia? It appears the Islamic radicals have done their job in converting enough of the masses to pose a threat to the current government. If Indonesia's leaders don't crack down soon, and hard, this country will become one more radical Islamic state. Watching how quickly these radical beliefs, and actions, spread is getting scary.

To repeat a tidbit posted two weeks ago.... I was flamed by FRs....."The center of Muslim terrorism and terrorist power has shifted away from the Middle East to Indonesia, subtly guided and funded by the Chinese. " Think about long-term admitted adversaries, who wins and who stands to lose by weakening the U.S. Remember who is in the Sudan , and Cuba, and Venezuela. Remember who was in Africa and the Middle East throughout the seventies and stirred up every form of hatred possible. Red Chinese. Nuff said.

Large anti-American protests staged in Indonesian capital... More than 2,000 people Considering that there are hundreds of millions of Muslims in Indonesia, 2,000 people is not what I would call a "large" protest.

In a city as big as Jakarta, 2,000 is nothing. 200,000 would be a worry.
