Thank you so much for hailing me, swheats, difficult as it is to get through the entire read.
This article should be placed in the hands of teachers to be incorporated into their lessons - for higher grades, at least.
We who grew up in an era steeped with thousands of such stories during WWII and Korea and beyond take for granted these images.

Thank you for the Ping, swheats! I can hardly see to type this -- my eyes are swimming in tears. The entire Beamer family are courageous heroes. God bless them for holding onto the Lord at this most unsettling and painful time. God bless Todd for being more concerned about
everybody but himself during the inimaginable crisis he found himself in the midst of on that fateful day. God bless President Bush for not being one to cry crocodile tears, and for having a real red-blooded American, Christian heart. God bless him for reaching out to everyone in pain. God bless Lisa Beamer for staring fear and sorrow in the face, and yet being triumphant with her charity efforts, and knowing where her priorities lie. God bless the Beamer children, Lisa's priorities, for I know they will emerge victorious from this, thanks to their mother's incredible strength and guidance.
May the Beamers never be forgotten. Never. A finer example of proud Americans and devoted Christians couldn't possibly be found. Many may be on equal footing, and it wouldn't surprise me, but none could surpass them. My prayers will be with them. Now and forever.
May Yeshua bless them all, and hold them close to His heart, while sending angels to watch over them. Amen.
