Afghanistan: The New Palestinian Homeland

We are being told that a 'resolution' to the Palestinian problem must be found to end terrorism. Afghanistan is a large country and clearly owes us reparations for the $50 Billion plus the atrocity has cost us.

Therefore I propose that they give up a portion of their land approximately equal to the size of the disputed area in Israel they crave and that all Palestinians be relocated there at the conclusion of hostilities.

Once there they can demonstrate the type of paradise on earth that differnt Islamic tribes can create based on their common religion and common Moslem identity. With several thousand miles between them and Tel Aviv the Israelis can finally have some semblance of peace in their lives as well.

A large Arab money infusion into the new "United States of Afghanistan" run as a US/UN protectorate as Japan was post WW2 will ensure that fairness and minority rights are protected.

Well thank you. I'll give Mr. Powell another month before I'll know if he is someone I'd work for. Right now I have my doubts.

Good try, but will the Palestinians go for it? They are attached to the history and religious landmarks of the area. Maybe we can give them a piece of Iraq - it's a lot closer. My plan is to take over the Iraqi oil fields as reparations for the war crimes commited and financed by Saddam - why should the American taxpayer be burdened? Surely there is space for a Palestinian homeland. The vast majority of the Afghan population has been brutalized and starved - they need help
