Radical Muslims in London have called for a holy war against America and Britain if Afghanistan is bombed for not handing over prime terrorist suspect Osama bin Laden. A call to "prepare the bodybags" came during a highly-charged public meeting organised by the Al-Muhajiroun group which aims to overthrow Western society and create a worldwide Islamic state. Only hours earlier the Home Secretary warned the group's leader, Omar Bakri Mohammed, that his outbursts are being monitored and that he faces prosecution for incitement of racial hatred "the moment the mark has been completely overstepped".

He did not attend last night even though he was billed to be there. His deputy Abu Aziz told young Muslims at the meeting in Whitechapel: "Any attack on Islam will lead to World War Three. You have to choose if you side with Islam, America, or sit in the middle as a hypocrite. And there's nothing worse than a hypocrite.

"America can kill Muslims but they can't kill Islam. If they attack Afghanistan, they'll have to prepare the bodybags."

"They say that they found a passport belonging to one of the hijackers who died when the 767 crashed into the World Trade Center?"

"We all saw the television pictures. There were thousands of gallons of fuel on board - everything was blown to smithereens. Do they think we are fools? What was he supposed to have done, thrown his passport out of the cockpit before the impact?"

That comment brought chuckles, as did another about the hijackers' white car found by US police at Boston Airport - where two of the hijacked planes flew from.

"In a white car, the Americans say they found documentation and flight training manuals in Arabic. Why Arabic? They spoke perfectly good English. Next they will say they even found a picture of Bin Laden in the back of the car." Aziz called Pakistan's president General Pervez Musharraf - a man on whom the organisation have already issued a fatwa because of his support for America - a "puppet".

"He has chosen America over Islam and will pay for that when he meets Allah," Aziz said. He called on the group's followers to call relatives in Pakistan and stir up a military coup and warn loved ones that nuclear missiles might be on the way.

Yesterday Home Secretary David Blunkett confirmed that the police, security services and the Home Office are monitoring Bakri Mohammed, who is entitled to remain in Britain, although his claim for asylum in the Eighties failed.

Mr Blunkett accuses him of causing social division by deliberately provoking the Government into moving against him.

The Al-Muhajiroun meeting, postponed from last Wednesday, finally went ahead in a first floor room at the Jagonari Centre in Whitechapel Road.

Those there were mainly Muslims in their 20s, the men and women sitting on opposite sides of the room divided by a 5ft screen, so the men couldn't see the women.

I just finished reading the Quran. Try as I might I just can't find the gentle Muhammed, Meek and Mild that the media keep telling us about. He says that Allah "does not love them, the Unbelievers." And a lot of really cool advice about how to handle your wives and slave girls and others who are "under your right hand." This would include, I suppose, those you might happen to be hijacking at any given moment. It's a tribal religion that encourages base, tribal practices, and its essential tenets require the overthrow of all non-Muslim faiths as a matter of "duty on the part of the Believer."

I have been studying the Middle-Eastern culture for 18 years. I have read the Koran cover to cover many times.

The "Multi-culturists" say we have to "Understand" the moslem world. The funny part is that I know much more of thier culture then any of the leftist elitists. I have been to Egypt, Israel, and Saudi-Arabia. These left wing guys dont even know the FIRST thing about the culture of Islam, yet they want to lecture people like me.

The only normal country over there is Turkey... they have acheived seperation of Church(MOsque) and state and they are by far the most normal moslem country there is.

By the Sharia(Islamic law.), if they had control of us, all "people of the book"(Jews and Christians.) would be subjected to the Religous tax and treated like second class citizens.
