Keep a sharp eye peeled while at a major college football game, my friend. Remember that any flights under 3000' within about 3.5 miles of most stadiums are now banned. If you see a Cessna approaching, which is something most people would pay no attention to whatsoever since they're so commonplace at these games, you might want to immediately leave. In fact, you'd definitely want to immediately leave or take cover or whatever.

Why do you presume that there are "major cover-ups going on", as opposed to false alarms that get hastily reported and then pulled as soon as cooler heads investigate and find the reports to be bogus?

I think you might be right. Seems I recall pecan groves. They were about the only green things around, besides cactus. I lived there in the early 70's and the biggest things Deming had was a truck stop and a cattle sales lot. Otherwise it's sand, cactus, tumbleweeds and the Florida Mountains off in the background.

There are pecan groves (as there are near Las Cruces, and they aren't far from Hatch, which is known for green chile.
