DUBAI, Oct 7 (AFP) -
Following is the full text of the message of Islamic militant Osama bin Laden broadcast Sunday by Qatar's Al-Jazeera satellite channel followed by statements from two of his commanders:
"America has been hit by Allah (God) at its most vulnerable point, destroying, thank God, its most prestigious buildings.
"America has been filled with fear from north to south and from east to west, thank God.
"What America is suffering today does not constitute even a negligible part of what we (Muslims) have suffered for decades. Our nation has undergone more than 80 years of this humiliation, its sons are killed, its blood flows, its holy places are attacked without reason -- but no one hears or answers.
"God guided the path of a group of vanguard Muslims who destroyed America and we implore Allah to raise them up and admit them to paradise.
"When they responded to (the call of) their oppressed sons and their brothers and sisters in Palestine and many other Islamic countries, the world was up in arms, and so were the infidels and hypocrites.
"Innocent children are being killed until this moment in Iraq and we hear no denunciation and we don't hear of any step (taken) by (Arab) rulers and sultans. Israeli tanks are wreaking havoc in Palestine -- in Jenin, Ramallah, Rafah and Beit Jala and other parts of the land of Islam, but no one raises his voice (in protest) or bats an eyelid.
"When the sword reached America after 80 years, the hypocrites raised their heads and lamented (what befell) those killers who played havoc with the Muslims' blood, honor and sanctities. They (Americans) are debauchees who supported the executioner against the victim and the unjust against the innocent child. God gave them what they deserve.
"After what happened and after senior officials in the United States, starting with the chief infidel Bush, spoke out, they mobilized their men and horses and turned even the countries that call themselves Muslim against us, in order to fight a group of people who are committed to their religion, in order to fight Islam and attack people under the banner of (combating) terrorism.
"(Where America is concerned), killing hundreds of thousands in Japan is debatable, and (what is happening in) Iraq is debatable. But when a few dozen of them were killed in Nairobi and Dar-es-Salaam, Afghanistan and Iraq were bombed and all hypocrites rallied behind America, the leader of global infidelity and injustice, and its allies.
"These events have divided the world into two parts: a part that espouses faith and is devoid of hypocrisy, and an infidel part, may God protect us from it.
"Every Muslim must rise to defend his religion. The winds of faith, the winds of change have blown to sweep away evil from Mohammad's Peninsula.
"To America, I have only a few words to say: I swear by God that America and those who live in America won't dream of having security before we have it in Palestine and all infidel armies depart from the land of Mohammad.
"God is great. Glory be to Islam."
Full text of statement by Al-Qaeda spokesman Sulaiman Abu Ghaith:
"From the land of jihad (holy war) and resistance, the land of honour and of glory, I address this message to the nation.
"We say that what happened to America on Tuesday, September 11 is natural, it is the result of the foolish policy followed by America, characterised by hostility to Islam and to Muslims and by direct interference in the politics of Arab and Islamic countries.
"America imposes an embargo on Muslims and declares its unlimited support for the Zionist entity which kills, pillages and pursues (Palestinians). America nonetheless supports the Zionist entity with all the means at its disposal.
"America must know that what happened to it is the result of this foolish policy and that if it continues with this policy, Muslims will never, but never stop their revenge for the injustice they suffer.
"The American people must know that it is totally responsible and what happened to them is the result of the policy followed by the American government.
"We say that the declaration of war against Afghanistan and against the fighters led by Osama bin Laden is considered a clear declaration and blatant hostility against Islam and Muslims.
"But let America and those allied to its position know that we are capable of continuing on the same path and we are capable, thanks to our belief, our values and our faith, of victory in this confrontation even if all the atheistic nations and even if the Arabs and Westerners (are against us). We are capable of resisting. This is our faith, this is our belief."
"If these strikes (on September 11), if this blatant, divine anger has not dissuaded America and has not frightened it and if what happened before to Russia has not taught it a lesson, America must know that the moment it sets foot on the land of Afghanistan will mark the beginning of its downfall.
"I make this appeal to the nation of one billion (poeple), the nation of Islam, the nation of Jihad.
"The confrontation has begun. It is the decisive war between faith and atheism. You have to chose your side. There are only two sides and no third (one). Either you chose the side of faith of that of atheism.
"The banner announcing jihad against Jews and Christians is raised as never before in our time. It has announced jihad against Americans, it has announced jihad against those who seek to soil the sanctuaries of Muslims and against the occupation of their territory and the shedding of their blood.
"O children of the nation, O youth, O men and women of the nation, the jihad is here and the divine voice is calling you. Why are you not fighting for God, for the oppressed among men and women? Fight the henchmen of the devil. Allah is great. Glory to God."
Full text of statement by Ayman Zawahri, leader of the Egyptian Jihad group:
"O Islamic nation, we appeal to you at this critical time when the infidel nations have ganged up against the Muslims and the mujahideen (fighters).
"Before starting (the appeal), I want to address a question to the American people, who are being mobilized by their government against us and against the Muslim mujahideen: Have you asked yourselves why there is so much hostility to America and to Israel, and why the Muslims' hearts are filled with such hatred for America?
"The answer is clear and simple: America has committed crimes against the Islamic nation which no person, let alone a Muslim mujahid, can bear.
"America is the chief of criminals. The Islamic nation cannot accept the crime of the establishment of Israel, which has been ongoing for 50 years.
"It is your government that is blockading and killing the children of Iraq; it is your government that is supporting and aiding corrupt governments in our (Arab) countries.
"Your government is leading you into a new war it is certain to lose. Remember that your government was defeated in Vietnam, fled in panic from Lebanon and Somalia, and received a blow in Aden.
"Your government is leading you into a new war it is certain to lose and in which you will lose your children and money. You American people and the whole world should know that we will not tolerate a recurrence of the Andalusia tragedy (the end of Moorish rule in Spain) in Palestine. We would rather see this whole (Islamic) nation perish than see al-Aqsa Mosque destroyed, Palestine judaized and its people expelled.
"For you, O Muslims, this is the day of truth and sincerity, the day you face a test. This is your day. The new Quraish (a tribe which fought the Prophet Mohamed) has ganged up against the forbearing Muslims, much as the old Quraish and its brutes ganged up against the Muslims in Medina, so do as the Prophet's companions did.
"O young mujahideen, o faithful ulema who love God, this is a new epic of Islam and a new battle for the faith, like the great battles of Hittine, Ain-Jalout and the conquest of Jerusalem. The epic is recurring, so rush to the honor of jihad."
That can be arranged if you are so inclined.

Perhaps we should be really sadistic and try and prolong these peoples' lives.
Don't kill 'em; sentence them to life in jail, and make sure they know we're not going to let them into Paradise without a fight.
