"Get the HOOK!!!"

I'm ashamed I watched the program. I was just so amazed at how truly awful he looked; how totally absorbed in him Carville was; and how incredibly blind Mary Matalin must be.

I'm re-reading Barbara Olson's "Hell To Pay" - she really shows the sick and twisted views of Bill's most admired person. I've ordered an extra copy of Barbara's soon to be released book on the Clintons -- it's for Hillary.

"He was introduced lovingly by Helen Thomas, "the man from Hope, the man who gives us hope, we miss you" were the last words of her..." Blah, blah blah..

She's still hoping she can put her kneepads to good use for Bill Clinton.

Think I'll run out to Target and buy Helen a pair of kneepads, write Billy's name on them and mail them to her w/a note "Helen, you can use these the next time you suck up to Bill Clinton."

She doesn't need kneepads. Time and gravity have given her boobs a renewed purpose.

"I came, I saw, I tried like hell to cover it up"

Shouldn't that be:

"I saw, I came, I didn't do a good job of wiping up"?

Here, here! Whatever clintons achievements, became even smaller after 9/11. The impeachment and pardons will stand out far more than his collaboration with the Republican Congress to get the economy on track. Helen will be a speck of bird doody on the footnotes of the windshield of American history!

This set of comments on the Presidents must date from November 20, 1997, since the last time the Washington's birthday holiday was on February 16 was in 1998. The usual trite "conventional wisdom" of the liberal cocktail party circuit, presented as deep insights. She thinks it is an accomplishment if in the 1990s people need two years of college to know as much as they should know by the end of high school.

That was also my thought.

I found her bias so blatent it was worthy of posting..She had to get Iran contra in Reagans assessment

NEWSFLASH~~Someone throws a beer at Bill Clinton inside a New York City pub, but the ex-President was not injured because it was a draft, so he dodged it!!

Notice also Helen Thomas' paean to Jimmy Carter: "he certainly had several foreign policy achievements." Somehow Iran slips her mind. The only possible achievement is Camp David, and it is debatable whether that made a genuine peace settlement involving Israel and all her neighbors easier or harder to reach. The Helsinki Agreement under Ford arguably did more in the long run for human rights than Carter's grandstanding on the issue.

Helen Thomas thinks Jimmy Carter is the best former President of modern times. If she means the 20th century, I would put Taft's and Hoover's contributions as former Presidents above Carter's--Taft was Chief Justice of the United States for 8 years. If she means all Presidents in her own lifetime, then I would also rank John Quincy Adams (17 years in the House of Representatives) above Carter.

Speaking of Ronald Reagan, on October 11 he ties John Adams' longevity mark, and on October 12 he will set a new record for longevity on the part of an American President.

Thanks Bill for leaving the economy in poor shape.

Thanks Bill for letting forgein policy become a mess.

Thanks Bill for leaving us with a weaker military.

Thanks Bill for dragging us through eight years of your scandals, lies and failures.

I guess the only thing that we can really thank you for is that we can now really appreciate having some leadership in the White House.
