I just wish that Bush would stop listening to the pacifist Powell...

I don't think so. Several Senators mocked the House for its decision.

I have to admit that when I saw the WTC goo down, I thought of Sharoin at the Dome on the Rock.

Just writing his name seems to get you excited, judging by your spelling, etc.

It's a shame you did not think of the poor innocent American (and other) victims in the WTC, as I think most Americans did. That, and a desire to see the perps brought to justice.

Don't you mean the "Temple Mount"?

Let's see. You're saying that I get sexually excited by Ariel Sharon but that I have no feeling for the innocent people slaughtered in the World Trade Center and Pentagon?

I saw the spelling errors. Chose not to correct.

Israel used to face annihilation from its enemies. Now it only has to deal with Pali terrorism.

On a daily basis. And their escalation only prolongs the terrorism. And our involvement makes us a target.

Is it even remotely possible... that on ONE single issue Bush might be wrong?

I think it's VERY possible, especially if it's an issue like this, where Bush is in agreement with Colin Powell's State Department.

No, the problem is that the State Department, under Colin Powell, is just so damned afraid that Israel is gonna "muck up" their precious 'coalition' that they're poking the Israelis in the ribs at the drop of a hat. Powell..........State Department...........just shut the f**k up and back up your President for once.

I don't know that he's not in agreement with every expert on this issue -- which has progressed to the point where wildly imagining of the disappearance of Palestinians is just not sound thinking. That is why GW particularly pointed out that he is in favor of the establishing a Palestinian State per the Oslo Accords.

It could be done. Just give them a month to gather their things and leave, or toss them into Jordan/Egypt, and don't let them come back. If they make a stand, drop artillery on them. If the Arab countries force the Palestinians to live as refugees, go to war with them. It's not that hard for Israel to make them disappear, there just has to be some political will.

Or, more simply put: There is a time and a place for everything. Now is not the time for this action by Israel, but that day is coming.

I think they bought that line in 1991, doubt if they will again.

What's Barf about this article? I think Bush is doing a great job, but he barfed this one! (He could make up for this by replacing Powell with Senator Phil Gramm, IMO.)

OR, Maybe this is disinfo...let OSB and the Taliban and Iraq think he is getting soft...and then Whammo!

Frankly, it is none of the US's (Bush's) business. He ought to butt out.
