She's cute as a button, but make no mistake.... I bet she's tough as nails. What a wonderful woman. I wish her and the kids all the best.

I was looking for the long shot of the WTC iron cross as it was found in the rubble.
I think the rescue worker cried for 20 minutes when he first found it, a spectacular picture probably a Pulitzer Prize winner.

If Adam were brunette, she could have been blond!
True, and maybe for Adam's sake she was. The story of the temptation reveals that she was hoodwinked and didn't sin by deliberate disobedience, so maybe she was blond.

What a great post! I haven't been online for quite a while because I worked across the streert form the Towers at 1 Liberty. We relocated temporarily to mid-town and just got our internet priveleges restored. I missed a lot since I logged out on Sept 10th. But the photos in your post express the wide range of emotions this tragedy has unleashed. We are all so aware of how fortunate we are to be Americans - - now more than ever. Thanks

Works for me. Sometimes you have to force it, though. right click on theimage and select show picture. I have no idea why it does that on some bulletin boards.

Different server. This is what I aim to protect, along with the basic concepts that this country was founded on.

This isn't the one you're looking for, but it is another good one:
Father Brian Jordan, second from left, blesses, Thursday, Oct.4, 2001, a cross of steel beams found amidst the rubble of the World Trade Center by a laborer two days after the collapse of the twin towers. The cross was from World Trade tower One, and was found in World Trade building Six and moved to its present location Wednesday. Other rescue and construction workers join Jordan for the ceremony. (AP Photo/Pool,Kathy Willens)
I saw it on this thread.
