Something about that last photo doesn't look right. The building looks too small to be one of the twin towers, and the exterior is not the same either. No, it's right. The Towers always looked that way from certain angles. It's just the way the outer skin of the buildings was designed.

I completely agree bump. Maybe they are saving the more graphic images for when we face our next tough decision. Good luck with your project.

Yes it is a very hard job and the worse thing about it is we don't get very good pay for it. If you are an EMT in Los Angeles, you are barely making over min. wage.
I was on my way to Paramedic school when we figured out as bad as I wanted to do it we just couldn't afford it.
Paramedics don't make much, I think from what I gathered I would be making around 10.00 hr when I graduated from school. We just couldn't make it on that kind of pay and I am too old to get into the Los Angeles Fire Dept. and work as a Paramedic there where you can make a half way decent living.

Perhaps you could get your jollies by visiting morgues.

BTTT.
Ain't sure I want to see all the graphics. Might never need to, but it's good you're making a memorial album. Never forget.

My guess is this is one of those jollies things. I can't imagine why anyone would want a picture of a splattered body except to offend someone and gloat over the reaction. A cyber flasher. The same people who think Annie Sprinkle and a cucumber is art.
He should try alt.binaries.tasteless.

I can't imagine why anyone would want a picture of a splattered body except to offend someone and gloat over the reaction. Having heard Richard Gere's comments at the concert for New York, I'd say that there are some people who need to be offended by the sight of splattered bodies. The exploding and falling skyscrapers just weren't enough; he still doesn't get it.

You should try reading the article, the whole article.

theblackday.net has a large collection of vivid photos from Sept. 11. They bring back the feelings of that day very clearly.

Did you miss this line....
The reason that I am passionate about this cause is it took me forty years to finally see some actual photos of naked jews getting gunned down in cold blood from behind and I have been educated very thoroughly about the holocaust since I was a child but still never experienced actual images until I came to ....you guessed it.... FreeRepublic.
I don't want history obscured like it was when I went to school.
....or just ignore it, not understand it, fear reality?
Do you believe we should sanitize history, assuming the generations to follow will completely understand what really happened?

There must've been many folks who jumped. Terrible stuff. Try talking to people who saw it in person. From what I understand, quite a few happy-go-lucky folks are now grim people in counselling because of it. Early on, the NYC news showed a man hanging outside of his window, waving his jacket for help and then they cut it, implying that he jumped/fell. From the numbers I've heard, hundreds must have jumped or fallen. The phrase that sticks with me the most, used by a person who fled the towers, was "piles of blood". Blood normally doesn't sit in piles.

You can join verity with in my last piece of advice. P!ss off! (Guess we won't be hooking up for any local freeps since I know you live pretty close to me. Your loss.)

Fine, don't read the whole article, just attack me.
Better yet, go back to your lazyboy and sit on your ass watching some dumbass game or race and have a beer.

I recall hearing the first day that 911 operators were recieving calls from people trapped after the WTC towers collapsed. I have figured that part of the story has been suppressed as well...

I want the hardcore stuff. Maybe you should take up NASCAR or beer rather than collecting "hardcore".

I was really surprised at Appy, I thought I knew him better. Guess not.
