Hero Fireman Slams Phony Hillary
NewsMax.com ^ | 10/23/01 | Carl Limbacher and NewsMax.com Staff

Posted on 10/23/2001 1:29:22 PM PDT by kattracks

Hero New York City firefighter Mike Moran, who thrilled a Madison Square Garden concert audience Saturday night when he taunted Osama bin Laden with the words, "Kiss my royal Irish ass!" slammed New York Senator Hillary Clinton on Wednesday, saying she's a transparent phony.

"I think when times are good and things are going well, people will sit there and listen to the kind of claptrap that comes out of her mouth," Moran said, in an interview with number one radio talker Rush Limbaugh.

Limbaugh had asked Moran why he thought the Garden audience booed Mrs. Clinton off the stage when she tried to introduce a video clip by comic Jerry Seinfeld. The hero fireman didn't hesitate to offer an explanation.

"When things are going like this, when it's serious times and serious men who actually suffered losses and she wants to get up and spew her nonsense -- she doesn't believe a thing she says. She says whatever she thinks will fit the moment."

Moran told Limbaugh that Mrs. Clinton's phoniness is transparent. "I think it comes through. And in serious times, people don't want to stand for it."

Moran said he wasn't a hero. But instead praised the men of Ladder Company Number 3 in Manhattan, 12 of whom, including Moran's brother, perished while trying to rescue burn victims from the fortieth floor of World Trade Center Tower One.

"The captain, Paddy Brown, gave a report from the North Tower that they had 30 to 40 severely burned people that they were trying to get down the stairs," Moran told Limbaugh.

"A few minutes later, he gave the most urgent kind of message a fireman could give -- a mayday that the building was coming down around him."

Moran said the building didn't fully collapse for another ten minutes, more than enough time for his colleagues to escape certain death.

But, said the fireman, "they wouldn't leave those people."

"I can't allow myself to be compared to those true heroes," the he told Limbaugh.

And you can fool all of the people some of the time.
But you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

Like I said on another thread, anyone who's hung around with cops and firemen as I have, knows that they have built in bulls___ detectors.

And they hate being used as props by politicians that don't respect and support them.

They see through people like her in 3 seconds.

They despise frauds like her and her husband.

Realizing of course that this man is the brother of a Freeper etc and that they both are ext. brave men who risk their lives to save others, still it was quite rude the boo-ing of Clinton.

Seriously, I thought conservatives stood for class etc. I think that it would have been far better for these firemen and policemen to express their disapproval by simply doing nothing, no clapping, no booing, nothing when she appeared. That too would have spoke volumes about their feelings, but in a more dignified way.

OMHO...If she were running for elect or re-elect for/as Senator NY now...she'd get her arse trounced (and that would take some trouncing!) by a Republican dog catcher running for the same.

If she has (bills) balz enough to run for Prez...NY will go Republican.

I wish either/or of those races were THIS November!

What a piece'o'trash she is...God bless Mike Moran and I know His brother is finally Home...

I see. Hillary may denounce NY cops as murderers, but to respond by booing her is gauche and inappropriate.

Sure sounds like a winning formula to me, hoss...

The other side understands that ridicule is a potent political weapon. If we intend to win, so must we.

If Hillary hadn't obtained pardons for murderous terrorists, if she hadn't declared New York police officers guilty of acts of brutality, if she hadn't used the attack on the WTC as an excuse to grab the limelight and try to take credit for things she hadn't accomplished, I might - possibly, maybe - agree that booing was not polite. Under the circumstances, however, I believe she deserved that and more. No one knew to bring rotten tomatoes to the concert, unfortunately.

Well, you see, when you are sitting in an easychair, away from the carnage and personal loss, it's easy to decide what others should have done in a given situation. Apparently, these men expressed their true feelings in a way that couldn't be mistaken for anything other than what it was. Disrespect for someone who deserves no respect.

When you realize what these men have seen, and what they have lost, I'm surprised they had he fortitude to resist storming the stage and phyisically throwing hillary! and her so called husband out into the gutter, where they belong.

you don't have to be a policeman or fireman to know those like the clintoons are phonies and liars--they, like so many others of their "demonrat" party have sucked the blood out of all who honestly served the nation for years--they cater their 'remarks' to the lowest common denominator every time--no wonder they were booed, about time the decent americans stood up and were counted--ww2 combat vet

Unfornutaely like a missouri mule, have to hit the offending party over the head.

That is what those firemen did, hit the mule over the head.

But as Hillary's people said those firemen list to right wing hate radio.

Being nice and polite doesn't work with this ground.

Seriously, I thought conservatives stood for class etc.

Where in the world did you hear that?

What conservatives stand for is integrity, life, America, God, individual liberties, smaller less oppressive government, pragmatism, personal responsiblity, an educated electorate, defense of America and other such mundane things.

We put up with this pig in a poke and her husband's hypocracy, lies, thefts, cheats, victimization, denigrating of our military, rapes and other EVILS while infesting the PEOPLES HOUSE for over eight YEARS!

As far as I'm concerned, this comes under the heading of conservative pragmatism. We don't hide events in this touchy feely blanket and try to pretend that evil doesn't exist in the world, it DOES exist and that's what seperates us from the left.

I don't feel any pity for her. Watching the tv, I was cheering them on. She got EXACTLY what she deserved. Class is a relative term. I thought those fire/policemen showed remarkable class by not getting up on that stage and throwing her off. not that all of them together could budge her ponderous weight or bear to touch that ugly pantsuit.

I'm no fan of Hillary but she grabbed the spotlight far less than Giuliani and Pataki did. Somehow Giuliani is now perceived as some great guy even while he was trying to subvert our laws by trying to extend his term and trying to rewrite the law to allow a 3rd term. If Hillary had been in the same situation and behaved similarly the bile here would be flowing big time.

They're all scum.

still it was quite rude the boo-ing of Clinton.

There are occasions when rudeness is a reasonable and appropriate reaction. Considering the antagonistic history Hillary has with police, it is probably a good thing there were no eggs or tomatoes available.

If Hillary had her feelings hurt, she can always go to see Rev. Sharpton and spend the day discussing how horrible and nasty and unfeeling the racist-sexist-homophobic NYPD is. She seemed to enjoy spending a lot of time doing just that before the election.

These people were booing because they were there to celebrate people who gave their lives trying to save others. Hillary represents the total complete opposite of that kind of sacrifice. She would gladly give up anyone elses life to save hers.

If I recall correctly, early in Klintoon's first term Hitlery threw the contents of her coffee cup in a Marine guard's face. She had ordered him to bring her a refill for her coffee and he politely reminded her that he was a guard, not a waiter.

In another instance she had the White Travel Office employees removed from their offices, put in a van and driven off the premises without any of their belongings. Then she, through her beloved Janet Rhino, had the FBI bring charges against them.

This bitch does not deserve any courtesy.

If they had simply sat on their hands, the lefties in the audience would have filled the hall with their own applause and cheers. No one would have known that the firemen and police were not clapping like crazy.

In a perfect world, you might be right. But this occasion must have been terribly emotional for those who had lost friends and kin, under extraordinary circumstances. It sounds to me that the reaction was a spontaneous outburst of that emotion--surely forgivable, under the circumstances, where it must have seemed that this duplicitous woman was merely there to exploit their grief for political purposes.

There are not many situations like this, in any one person's life. The contrast between this Fireman's brother and Hillary is so stark as to cause just about anyone to drop their normal guard of decorum.

How do you treat scum in a dignified manner? What in the world have you been smoking? Hitlery has spent a lot of time and effort attacking the very principles that most Americans believe in. What is wrong with letting her know exactly and in no uncertain terms how we feel about her? So now it isn't PC to voice our opinions if they disagree with the left -- but it has always been that way, hasn't it. It is about time that we stand up, booooo the phony "leaders" as much as we want, and take our country back from the RATS that are destroying us.
