Please cite sources of the 'debunking'. I have seen some of them; but, they all come from 'less than reputable' socialist sources. I would very much appreciate some solid evidence that she didn't deal with Treuhaft and the Black Panthers. I know how she didn't know about the 'Rose Law Firm' billing records that showed up in the White House library. 'Spinmeisters' spin. The Wellesley period to the Nixon 'Watergate' period have some 'gaps' in the record, and the junior Senator from New York is in no big hurry to make them public, IMHO.

The real problem is that with one exception (Jon Kyl), no one on that committee will play Leahy's own game. Kyl calls him out, but the rest of the Republicans on the Judiciary Committee (Orrin, I'm looking at you) are weak sisters.

Wasn't Leahy also the one who managed to get Lake Champlain classified as one of the Great Lakes, so that government funds for Great Lakes research could be siphoned off for the benefit of Vermont? The classification was later reversed because of the general ridicule, as I recall.

I know that the founding fathers planned the Senate so that each state, no matter how large or how small would have an equal representative on the Senate. Nonetheless, it's sad that a man from such an unimportant state is able to run things on the hill. Duval County, Florida has more residents than Vermont for goodness sake. With the exception of the remaining VT natives, VT is a socialist paradise full of trust fund babies from NY, NJ, Mass, and Connecticut. I lived just down the road from Pat Leahy's "tree farm" in VT. It is obviously just there so that he can save $$ on his taxes and so he can talk about his "farm" back home. The beautiful old barn is in a state of disrepair.

I believe that the Georgia legislature once voted to dig a trench around Vermont and float it out to sea. It's time to start digging...

A Senator leaked vital information, information that could have gottten our troops killed, God only knows what could have happen to more Americans. President Bush did nothing about the Senator. That Senator was not removed or convicted of treason, he remains in office and his name not given out, he is be protected. Condit was a threat to this country and Bush has said nothing about him being removed, instead Condit is rewarded and becomes even a greater threat to this country. Rick Lazio exposed Hitlary and her ties to groups that were connected to terrorists, the very terrorist that attact this country. Hitlary now sits in the Senate and posses a even greater threat to this country. Pres.Bush won't fight war on terrorist right in our country, in our government and he won't fight to keep the criminals off the benches and out of our justice dept. Bush also refuses to close our Mexican boarders. The Dems. want to close the Canadian boarder. Canadians are not rushing our boarders, bringing in drugs, gangs and killing people but Mexicans and other that are coming thru the Mexicans boarders are. Were fighting the Talibans on foreign soil but what about the Talibans in our Government,the Democratic party. Gephardt right now is pushing for Government Security for Airlines, that's Airlines Security BLOOD MONEY, the same blood money Al Gore was getting. The American people need to take a stand and make the Airlines do their job and secure the Airlines, if not sell their Airlines and pay back the money they recieved. Why isn't the news media asking what was Hitlary selling to the terrorist groups, they were not giving her money for no reason. The Anthrax information on how to get it and where to get it had to come from someone in this country. Eight years of party time, drunken fund raisers that were nothing more than AUCTIONS. America was for sale and the Clinton were selling it piece by piece. Now with the Anthrax threat, it seems like even American lives were on the auction block. Were fighting a loosing battle unless someone gets the ball rolling and start removing the criminals from our government. We have an FBI and even the FBI won't come forward and expose the criminals in our government.

One thing the people of New York will not do, is fight back. Why do you think Chuck Schumer and Hitlary are in the Senate. Hitlary was Booed and I was schock but it want happen again. I'm sure you heard, Hitlary later got a standing ovasion and for what? If I heard right, anyone connected to or supporting terrorist groups will also pay they price. Well, what was Hitlary selling and what were the terrorist groups getting for the money they were giving to HItlary? Why was it so important for the terrorist to get Hitlary elected to the Senate and who was sending death threats to Rick Lazio and his family? Where are the New Yorkers and why won't they DEMAND that our New York Senate seat be returned to a resident of New York. Hitlary attended meetings and fund raisers by the very people connected to the Hyjackers that killed 7,000 people and New Yorkers won't fight back but she gets a standing ovasion.

Another story is why Gephardt wants the tax payers to pay for Airline Security. You've probably seen what The Urban Legends Website has to say about it.

You don't have to be a fan of the ACLU to recognize that that's not the same thing as "defending" the accused Panthers.

Hillary was a law student, a bit player. Bill Lan Lee was an undergrad, even more of a bit player. The article referenced above seeks to blame Hill & Bill (um, Bill the Lesser) for little more than being in the vicinity.

The article referenced earlier in this thread cites "Various sources," which is the same as citing no sources (among its errors, it erroneously lists Lee as a "law student" at the time). The Urban Legends site which I cite lists 6 sources, dating from 1973 to '99. You're welcome to look them up for yourself.
