93 men reported having 1,225 sexual partners and could identify only 8 percent of them by name!

I recall when I was involved in a concerned citizens group in southern Calif. (around 1990) that we discovered these types of numbers are true. The gay community which surrounded where I lived denied this, stating most of them live with their "significant other" and practice "monogamy." The community in which I lived couldn't (or wouldn't) believe what we were telling them. Dr. Lorraine Day, a nationally known physician who treated in the emergency room of (I believe) San Francisco General Hospital spoke at our gathering and had much to say about the condition of homosexual men who showed up in her E.R. ....Quite disgusting facts she related to us.

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean by this.

The brain, it seems, is the first. That would explain the many "Log-Cabin" types and their enablers here, and elsewhere.

Yes, there are some sick SOBs here that rather than discuss the downside of this lifestyle will do whatever they can to stifle the debate. It doesn't take long for Morris the Cat to wander over to these threads, pee all over them and get them pulled.

``I heard a report on the radio the other day about some who are very proud to have AIDS. Going so far as to have an HIV-POS tattoo on their arm.''

That sounds like someone mentally ill. Well at least with the tatoo anyone coming into contact with them will know they have the disease, huh?

So in other words, when the government extends same-sex benefits, its actually providing universal coverage? LOL

Quite literally, though, the brain does go, so to speak, if you are infected with syphilis or AIDS. Dimentia can be caused by AIDS.

Well, clearly the ones that chose to have sex with them dont really care about safe sex, so I guess it doesn't matter.

What--you can get syphilis in an AOL chatroom? Sheesh. And to think people are worried about anthrax.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

Unfortunately, they want us to subsidize them with our tax dollars while they're doing the crime. This kind of article can't sell too well in SF. Suprised the Bee published it.

They're shocked, shocked!!!!!!!! sheesh...I am shocked they are shocked. All those hollyweird folks are having unprotected sex all the time, just look at the number of them having babies out of wedlock. Then tell me they really want the AIDS epidemic to go away. How will they attack the right, raise money, or have someone to blame if they take responsibility for their own behaviour. As with slick willie, when he freed the FALN terrorists, the signals are clear!!!! Ignore them at our own peril.

Back in 1990, when I was involved in the citizens group, I also flew up to northern Calif. and spoke before the Board of Education and attended a few meetings. I met personally with a man who was the head of the health education curriculum for California public schools. It came out in these meetings that the reason why the gay community wants it to be perceived as if they are monogamous is so that they can receive medical benefits.

These numbers are indeed characteristic of homosexual men, and had been documented before the AIDS issue arose.

The numbers dropped off for a while during the self-imposed "safe-sex" era in the homosexual community, but their promiscuity re-asserted itself, and they have as a group relapsed to previous modes of behavior.

There are some long term "monogamous" relationships among homosexuals, and some abstainers; but they are a relatively small minority. Then again, to be fair they are a minority among heterosexuals too...

Yep. They insist on being subsidized and assigned special civil rights, and we're doing it. That's crazy!

While trying to agree with being fair, I just can't believe that the overall population of heterosexual men will have thousands of partners in a year.
