HAMILTON -- FBI agents yesterday confiscated property and searched records at a township apartment complex one day after detaining for questioning at least two men who had been at the residence.

The FBI raid comes on the heels of increased surveillance at the Greenwood Village Apartments, the same complex where Mohammad Aslam Pervez, a former Trenton Train Station employee under arrest in New York in connection with the terrorist investigation, once lived.

Oddly enough it was black hair dye. (I wouldn't think that would alter the hair color of most Middle Eastern types.)

What I find interesting is that most, if not all of these sites of mailings can be reached via NJ Transit or PATH train from Jersey City/Newark very easily. Not sure if the DC/VA sites correspond to their local public transit system but getting to DC from Newark is a cake walk as well via AMTRAK.

Wonder if there is a connection to the plastique explosive found in Philly bus station?

Right, it's a short ride from Trenton to Philly.

Yeah, don't make the mistake of suppposing the "domestic" angle is not deliberate disinformation. One the the most in-depth articles that went farthest is the "right wing nut" theories was Bob Woodward. What red-blooded Republican could resist yanking Bob Woodward's chain, and all in a good cause?

But of course, the anthrax mailings MUST be a RIGHT-WING conspiracy.

From the Midwest, no less.

Originally it was reported that the mailings came from a box at the Woodbrook Apartments in West Trenton -- about 10 miles northwest by road. That may have been misdirection, for the authorities have since backed away from the story. The source could welll have been in Hamiltion near the City of Trenton.

Maybe the black hair dye was a cosmetic improvement, you know, to look good for the 72 virgins.

How far is this apartment from the one where the anthrax mailings were traced to?

The non-postal worker who was found to have cutaneous anthrax lives in Hamilton Square, about 4 miles from Mohammad Pervez's apartment.

She works in an accountants' office nearby.

(At this point it's not known whether she contracted anthrax from a mailing.)

I hope you were not hearing my words as me sniping at good news.

It is just that this is a change from only a day or two ago, and what spurred that change would interest me.

The 264-unit complex, where residents say most people tend to keep to themselves, is located along Massachusetts Street just beyond the Trenton city limits. Numerous residents of Middle Eastern or Pakistani descent live there, many of whom speak little or no English.

Anyone else find this part of the story interesting? Why are these people in the country? If you want to come here, with all the millions clawing and scratching to get in, isn't it reasonable that we at least require you speak English before showing up? Maybe you waive that if your educational/professional attainments are special, but in general, is this too much to ask?

Our immigration policy is lunacy.

The CIA was starting to float a denial that Atta had met with Iraqi intelligence. I saw the banner go across the screen once on CNN and then the Czechs confirmed that they had video and the banner disappeared.

Haha! To see CNN embarrassed, it's a beautiful thing.

Yes, it is a cakewalk to travel between Philly, Trenton and Jersey City/Newark (site of one of NJ's other nest of terrorists) all along the same Amtrak line;

and likewise Jersey City/Newark to D.C. is fast and easy.

I agree that the immigration policy is lunacy, especially since we have friends and relatives in Eastern Europe (not even Russia) who know some English and are well-educated, are Christian rather than Muslim, would not be a drain on public resources and so forth, and can't even get a visa to visit the USA for a couple of weeks. (This is standard policy going back decades, and is accompanied by sneering accusations that OF COURSE they won't be given a visa since everybody just knows they would break the law and stay.) What is going on? My theory is that -- unknown to most normal Americans -- the immigration agency and related agencies have been infiltrated by individuals who have in fact taken on the task of making America into something different from the properous, free Christian country which most of us assume it is.

A related development carried on by our government is the Small Business Administration's 8(A) program, and the legally-imposed requirements on EVERY FEDERAL AGENCY, for funnelling work to "qualified minorities" as though those of us who are white males have anything to do oppressing minorities such as Middle Easterners, African-Americans, Hispanics, and Pacific Islanders who get preferential treatment on government bids. I have great personel experience with observing this phenomenon. Meanwhile, the SBA and the rest of the government could not care les swhether I and other white males businessmen starve to death.

The post office is on Rt 130 between the intersection of Rt 195 and the village of Edgebrook. The cuteaneous case is slightly north of White Horse. Mercerville is considered the center of Hamilton Township. The Greenwood Village area is to the left of Mercerville and is on the fringes of some seedy sections of Trenton.

Thanks. So those locations (Mohammad Pervez's apartment, the location of the non-postal worker victim, and the Hamilton post office) are even closer together than I first thought.

Maybe they don't use the dye to do their hair???

I can't imagine what else the creeps would use it for but the Good Guy's have been telling us to think "out of the box." ;)

"It appears that the lawyer mentioned, one Richard L. Gruber, is on the CLR ethics list for New Jersey. That list is for "the attorneys or judges who have been reported to have been disciplined by the State of New Jersey for unethical conduct, sued for malpractice, incarcerated, whom we understand have been charged with unethical conduct, or who have brought disrepute to the courts and to the legal business, etc."

Here is another list of lawyers, this one for Arkansas - second one will look familiar
