Thanks for the ping, DD!! What a great evening - nice pix, too! (All we get to do is FReep Condidit... dang.)

Thanks so much for the report. Of all the famous people, President Reagan and Justice Thomas are the two I most admire.

Justice Thomas brings me to tears when I hear him speak. This must have been a night of nights! To see the pics and in each and every one of them see people we respect, and better yet, trust, is just terrific. How lucky you all were to be there-the planning, the event, the post-event, etc. What FUN! And what a good reminder of the terrific people we have in leadership roles. It's overwhelming! Thanks for the great report!
To: CheneyChick
LOL I adore VP Cheney, too!

You're quite welcome for the report, as belated as it is! LOL It was a great night with great people -- and it was absolutely my pleasure and my honor to lend a hand.
Cute story: Mrs. Thomas was prompted by her husband to say a few words at the podium. She scolded him for not giving her any warning, then she said that all she could really say is that she is the luckiest woman in the world! It was truly a wonderful night, Republic!
Good to see you, and a big ol' hug.

CAL, thanks for the ping. I'm so glad to see Justice Thomas being recognized, especially after he's had such a hard time down here in his home town of Savannah. He SHOULD be the most honored citizen of the city, yet it seems the black "leadership" down here takes every possible opportunity to disparage him.
I'm sure you heard that they wanted the city library board to turn down a donation to help restore the historically black public library where Justice Thomas studied as a child, because the anonymous donor gave it under the condition that a wing be named for Justice Thomas, & the black "leadership" thought that would be just TOO awful?

It was APPALLING. Hopefully, CNBL can help affect change. A lot of things have changed since 9-11. We can hope and pray.
Regards.

Just got back home, so I'm a bit late to this thread, but I enjoyed reading every word of it! It has raised my spirits after reading all the doom and gloom and otherwise scary threads tonight!
All you freepers look positively lovely, except for Kristinn. He just looks elegantly handsome. I'm so proud to know all of you.
This event seems to have been a perfect evening, and I'm so happy all of you could attend. Next time, though, I want an invitation!!!--LOL!

"I heard a rumor that Gore was working the door...Is that true?" LOL Nope, he was tring to get in!

Next time, you'd better be there!
It is a nice break from the doom and gloom.
Hugs.

My friend, you were asking on another thread what Alan Keyes has done to help fellow conservatives. Helping CNBL is but one thing.
To: SmokingMan
Centre for New Black Leadership !? where is the Centre for New White Leadership?
To: kristinn; Clinton's a liar
Thanks for the great pics. WOW!!! Great event also. Looks like you all had fun. Kristinn, you're the handsomest with that new facial look :-)
How come the links don't work?

I just find this so very hard to believe....J C Watts and Alan Keyes in the same room at the same time! Hmmmmmm....I have sources here at FR that have indicated a v-e-r-y negative Watts attitude regarding Keyes.
However, I do seem to recall receiving a letter from JC that suggested otherwise....oh my, what to believe......
