When I saw it the first time, I thought 'uh oh' and then I noticed the thing never changed course at all. Later a different video with 2 planes the missile did the same thing, no course changes.
Those stingers seem to be effective against hovering objects I would bet.

I think you're right. We have to remember what some of these people are like. In college I had a professor who described seeing Arabs getting out of stalled cars and kicking them...
