*** The Ultimate FREEP **** I am a longtime lurker and first-time poster so please be patient.

I finished Barbara Olson's "The Final Days" and got mad all over again about the Clinton years. Mrs. Olson recounts at great lengths the pardons for money game. Denise Rich gave over $1 million to the Clinton Library.

It turns out that this scam in Little Rock is a big slush fun for "the Big He." There is a 5,000 sq foot apartment at the top. He uses the Library Foundation to reward friends such as Mrs. Rich and Cheryl Mills.

So I got this idea. I contributed $.03 by credit card to the Clinton Library.

My research indicates that for each credit card contribution the "retailer" is billed by the bankcard comany $0.10 to $0.35.

Imagine if 1 million people contributed $.03 to the Clinton Library. $30,000 in gifts could result in costs of $100,000 to $350,000. It would actually deplete his slush fund.

I also suspect I'll receive some type of mail acknowledgement of my gift. There is also record keeping. Costs there at least $1 per gift. Another $1M gone.

If anyone with more experience could point out flaws in this action, then please post.

One thing comes to mind immediately is that they could wise up and accept contributions of only $5.00. That's why this action would have to take place quickly and preferably over a weekend.

Just think of Mrs. Olson while doing this, all the harm Clinton has done to this country and continues to do. This Library is just a platform for both Clintons to rewrite history and stay in our faces.

Oh, I'll be watching this closely, I think you may be onto something. In short order they would place a minimum on donations I fear.

Boy, I really like this idea. Worth my $.02 to speak up here and support the concept of donating $.03.

Another plus: I am now on the official Enemies List of the Clintons.

I'd like about a million Americans to join me.

I anticipated the minimium donation problem so that's why if this thing could be coordinated as a mass event over a weekend it would work better. They wouldn't find out about it until Monday and no way would the Clintons or their staff come in over a weekend to stop it.

I doubt if the banks would cut them any slack.

The Big Creep speaks today at Georgetown; his alma mater.

As a graduate of a Jesuit school I can't understand why they let him speak there. I'm ashamed.

LOL!!!! I like your thinking!!! It reminds me of my scheme to get even with the gas stations during $2.50 gas here in Chicago. Buy .50 cents worth of gas at a time on a credit card, and it cost the station more than they made from me to process the transaction.

Hey, you STOLE your idea from me! LOL!!!

BTW, both Visa and Mastercard have a rule that there are no "minimum charge" requirements. ie, those stores/restaurants (why is it always an asian owned store?) that have the "minimum charge $5.00" are bogus. It may have changed, I heard this a few years ago, but I doubt it. HOWEVER I'm sure in a donation situation there is nothing that requires someone to take your offering.

NOW... if they have it all set up to automatically send the charge on to your issuer, then maybe we have somehing here...

What happened? Did it take the 0.03?

The only way for this thing to work is to get 10,000 or 100,000 people to do this. It needs bigtime scale.

Multiple credit cards. Great idea to leverage this thing. I have at least 5 so there's at least $1.50 in the hole for the Clintons.

Just donated another 0.05 on two credit cards.

The donation process is fully automated so it would be hard to stop a massive donor campaign of 100,000 people.

Who got invites to this shindig? Most colleges hand out tickets to gigs like this as payoffs to those that donate big bucks.
