Any one have any ideas why the computer I use at work, won't recognize www.freerepublic.com as a valid DNS entry since Wednesday?

I've cleared the cache, upgraded the browser to IE5.5 and tried everthing else I know.

Only Free Republic is giving me the problem, all other sites work. Any help will be greatly appreciated, I am having FR withdrawal!

All I can tell you is that FR has been down so many times..... at DIFFERENT times of the day, but almost every day. You must be "at home" now if you're here!

My suggestion? Don't go to work! Stay here and play with us. :^)

Do you mean this is your first time to visit the Canteen, or this is the first time you've seen that picture I posted with you in it? That thread was posted in March, I think. :^) At any rate, if you're here for the first time, Welcome - we're here every day, and every day it's something new! New food, new graphics, new friends, new songs sometimes......always new and never old, we have fun, and not only here on FR itself, there are many military bases and clubs reading us every day. Wave and say hi to them! :^)

Yep. I'm home today. My daughter got into a car wreck and we've been doing the contact insurance, arrange for rental car thing today.

I'll tell my boss Billie says it's ok to stay home and play on FR, she shouldn't have a problem with that.
