THE DEFINITION OF “DOMESTIC TERRORISM”

THE DEFINITION OF “DOMESTIC TERRORISM”
Yesterday I mentioned a brochure someone sent me from the Phoenix FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force. This is a brochure handed out to law enforcement officers in the Phoenix area to help them identify potential “domestic terrorists.”

The brochure starts out with “If you encounter any of the following, call the Joint Terrorism Task Force. The brochure then proceeds to set forth certain things that the law enforcement officers need to look for. They include ….

Pretty good stuff, huh? Let’s say you’re stopped by the cops and they want to search your car. You cite your Constitutional right to be free from unreasonable search and seizure and ask the cop why he stopped you and what he is looking for. Suddenly your name is reported to a terrorism task force.

Is any of this beginning to sound just a little frightening to you?

Well .. let’s read some more from the brochure:

“The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force is attempting to identify criminal activities with domestic terrorists. In this regard, the purpose of this information sheet is to assist uniformed patrol officers in identifying potential domestic terrorists.
”Domestic terrorism is defined as: Groups or individuals operating entirely inside the US, attempting to influence the US government or population to effect political or social change by engaging in criminal activity.”

Do you need to read that again? Go ahead, I’ll wait.

Break this down. Any individual who violates a law in an attempt to influence the government or other people in an attempt to produce some political or social change is a domestic terrorist. Some examples:
  1. You make an illegal campaign contribution
  2. You trespass on private property while engaged in a demonstration
  3. You remove campaign yard signs erected by a politician you don’t support
  4. You illegally place campaign signs in the highway right-of-way
  5. You withhold a percentage of your income taxes to protest military spending
All of the above actions fit easily into the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force definition and thus make you a “domestic terrorist” according to this brochure.

If you aren’t starting to get a little concerned about our civil liberties at this point, you’re either a leftist or you’re asleep.

Someone who says that driving is a “right,” and not a “privilege.”

Mostly it's liberals who say this. They get the gun ownership thing backward, too, saying that's a privilege and not a right.

And to think we have a holiday named after that arch-terrorist, Martin Luther King!

How many members of FreeRepublic will now be added to the FBI's domestic terrorist list because of their complaints that the agencies in the Federal government, FBI and DOJ and CIA and BATF etc are not upholding the COnstitution in deference to the UN or world government?

Will Freeper BlueDogDemo and attorney Schippers and journalists James Patterson and Jayn Davis get put on the list for complaining to the public and to Congress and taking legal actions about federal government bureucrats who do not uphold the law or the COnstitution to protect citizzens from terrorism?? Oh, by the way, the FBI slipped up in their defintion( I am sure they will correct this soon)-you will be called a terrorist if you say that the FBI & DOJ are doing this to promote world government and to help the AntiChrist system.

It will be okay to be a peace loving Muslim (the FBI is already protecting the Muslim Hamas cells in OKC and in America), but if you are a Christian that complains about the unCOnstitutional AntiChrist system being set up in our government, you will soon be called a non-peace loving terrorist by the FBI & DOJ.

Ultimately, if you complain and warn about taking one of the ID's or marks on Christian Biblical grounds, you will be branded a terrrorist by the FBI & DOJ.

Will the FBI & DOJ brand me a terrorist for complaining about and predicting this now?? The FBI will become the gestapo for the AntiChrist system worldwide if it stays on its present course.

"Someone who makes numerous references to the U.S. Constitution."

Damm, I just did this on the thread on Bush and the Homeless. Someone please send me a Foil Hat.. ROTFLMAO!!!!

But to be serious for a min, If the Federal Government has now decided that the Rule of Law is not the Rule of Law (aka.. The Constitution), doesn't that make them guilty of “DOMESTIC TERRORISM”?

Here's an old one that shows that for police purposes State Borders are meaningless. Most folks aren't aware of this. Another notch for the War on Drugs ----- Mo./Ark. Border Now 100+ Miles Wide

Combine the laws passed for the WOD and now Terrorism, and we resemble '39 Germany.............. scratch that, never said it, didn't mean it if I did say it, are we there yet?

They're not just *Domestic Terrorists* [and have been ever since their roles in the Kennedy and King murders and subsequent coverups and frameups] but are also just plain old garden-variety criminals- who very well may face death sentences for their criminal activities [if the law is to be applied fairly and equally to all, which is of course not usually the case for the secret police of a totalitarial regime:]

Terrorism is the unlawful use of force or violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives.

Judging by the way I and others are savaged as a "Bush Haters" or "America Haters" if we've the temerity to criticize or question the government here on Free Republic, I suspect there's plenty of Good Citizens who'll be only too happy to accomodate the feds with the Anonymous Tips necessary to round up those ripe for Justice courtesy of the PATRIOT Act.

Kinda ironic, isn't it, that it's genuine Patriots who've the potential to be taken down with measures named for them.

I love it when the facts of the matter are clearly shown, as you did with the scan of the offending document.

[Next will be the ludicrous claim that you made that doc in photoshop.]

Thanks for the post.

That seems to have been a long term method that's been used in this "Information Age". Most folks don't think for themselves, so when their alternate brain, the major medias, start labeling "Militias", "Patriots", "Right Wingers", "Ultra-Conservatives", etc. as less than "Moderates" and bad for the health of the Nation/World, they just naturally follow along.

What a crappy way to live, letting somebody else do your thinking and form your opinions.

Yup! Probably won't be long before one of our resident shills (most of us know who it is!) posts a graphic of four of them, side by side, to prove this one was altered. If that does't do the trick, he'll post one purported to be written by Mickey Mouse, just to prove it could be altered, therefore, this one must be altered. (Tortured reasoning but we've all seen it before!) Yet another resident shill (we know who that one is, too, and yes, they do seem to work together) will come along with a faked sound analysis that somehow proves the above graphic is all wrong. Others, however, will just ignore the pamphlet and insist it's all an insane plot made up by Michael Rivero in the first place, and increase Reynolds Wrap stock values by prescribing tinfoil hats.

Did I leave anything out here?
