Are there any other FReepers that sell on eBay?
Self ^ | My Birthday! (11/21) | Flyer

Are there any other FReepers that sell on eBay? I sell more than I buy, but I would like to "Buy FReeper" when I can. Post a link to your auctions here and we can support each other.

I have bought a few things, have a lot more to sell, model train cars and engines, all kinds of neat things. I haven't tried to sell anything yet though. I'm Budge there too.

redlipstick on FR, tallahasseefla on eBay.
I sell all kinds of things, but intend after the first of the year to be more focused on antique photos and vintage linens.

I'll be putting up my brother-in-law's book about life here in North Florida - it is GREAT! hint,hint...

The best thing I ever sold on eBay was last January. I was up in Stuart, Florida at the flea market there. I stopped to buy some oranges and right near me was someone with a bunch of books on the ground. One of the books was the hard cover "Dune Encyclopedia" from 1984. It looked interesting since it gave explanations for things in the Dune world. I asked the vendor how much and she said a buck. If she wanted 2 bucks I wouldn't have bought it. That night (Sunday) I listed it on eBay for $3.00. The next morning I checked the listing and almost spilled my coffee when it hit over $90. Over the next couple of days it kept going steadily upwards until it sold on Wednesday night for $202.50. Ever since then I have been keeping my eyes out for the Dune Encyclopedia.

I have a real interesting book about Claude Kirk. It is his bio. This is something of interest to Floridians since Kirk was the first Republican since Reconstruction to become governor of Florida. However, Kirk was EXTREMELY eccentric as well. His downfall came when he endorsed Nelson Rockefeller for president in 1968, thinking it would advance him politically. Ironically, it had the exact opposite effect and he alienated himself from most of the rest of Florida Republicans. The interesting thing is that if Kirk had endorsed Nixon, he probably would have been chosen as his vice-presidential running mate (Nixon was looking for a Southerner on the ticket) instead of Agnew. When Nixon resigned in 1974, Claude Kirk would have then been sworn in as president. Think about that.

Although Kirk irritated a lot of people, with the passage of time his eccentric antics can now be viewed with a lot of humor. I have the Kirk bio listed on Half.com but if someone is interested in this book, I can take it off for private sale.

Flyer, this is my addiction!!I would rather go to a thrift shop than Disney Land or the MALL!! We are retired, with the exception of raising two foster children. When they are gone to school , we are out and thrift shopping. I love it.By the way, I don't know how to put a link up and certainly don't want flamed so I just put in my ebay ID, rejoicing1.

A digital camera is a useful tool for E Bay sellers - buyers like photos of merchandise. I just sold a small sailboat on E Bay.

I have not sold anything on e-Bay, but I have bought quite a bit. I have things I would like to sell but have not gotten around to it. I told my husband if he dies before I do, I'm going to quit my job and sell his stuff on e-Bay. That would keep me busy until time to go to the nursing home. Seriously... a list of freepers selling on e-Bay would be nice.

I buy a lot of crap on eBay. I have sold very little. I have bought stuff ranging from "This Little Piggy" figurines to a NADY Wireless system for my guitars.

I love eBay. I can find crap on there really cheap compared to buying it in a store a lot of the time. I had always wanted a quality wireless system for my guitars. Have NO need for one since I play in a room in my house and not on a big stage. But i still wanted one. So i searched the used instrument stores and stuff and was always able to find a used NADY system for no less than $100. I found one on eBay. Delivered to my door it cost $52. And the seller included a bag of pretzels from a local maker and they were some of the best pretzels I have ever had.

If anyone is ever selling a Digitech RP-1 processor, let me know.

A couple of years ago I was selling a lot of digital cameras on eBay, mostly Sony Mavicas which I highly recommend. I was drop shipping refurbished digital cameras. The great thing about the refurbs are that they are a lot cheaper than the non-refurbs but they are also covered by the warranty. I had one buyer who had a bit of a problem with his refurb Mavica but Sony took care of it for him within a week under the warranty.
