CNBC "Hardball" host and Democratic Party insider Chris Matthews said Saturday that New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton can't wait to become president of ther United States.
"She's dyin' for it," Matthews told NBC's Tim Russert, on Russert's own weekend CNBC interview show.
RUSSERT: What about your fellow Goldwater groupie Hillary Clinton?
MATTHEWS: Ah, you know, you're a New Yorker, a New York stater - um - Hillary is dyin' for it. But she's also miserable right now because of all this patriotic stuff going on - she can't stand it.
Matthews recalled an incident where Mrs. Clinton seemed reluctant to pledge allegiance to the American flag.
"I remember Hillary - I'll tell you this about Hillary," Matthews told Russert. "She once said, 'I pledge allegiance to the America that can be.'
"What, are we on probabtion?,' Matthews exclaimed.
"When is she gonna lighten up about this sort of thing," the CNBC host added. "This is a great place instead of her constant complaining."

And now it's up to people like us to make sure America NEVER forgets or that hope will be completely dashed by the media frenzy when hitlery runs.

I'm always SO relieved when somebody besides member of Free Republic notice the same things we do........LOL.
I'm always amazed when they aren't struck dead on the spot when they say stuff like that.
I have zero doubt that she has linked up - through her database contacts - with America's enemies at this very moment in her attempt to destroy President Bush's successes and remove him from office.
That is why she has acted as she had in public. She cannot contain her loathing for the resurgent patriotism - or for President Bush's amazing and inspired speeches - especially the one to Congress. TO HER - ALL OF THIS IS MERE WORDS!
To her - the only thing that counts is results.
In the attack on the WTC, she has a huge win. Why?
Results of the attack on WTC: President Bush and his entire administration is preoccupied with the war which means they cannot investigate what would surely be prosecutable crimes by the Clintons.
Attack on the Pentagon - her arch enemy Barbara Olson is dead. That is another win for Hillary.
Also the entire country is so preoccupied with the war - we have little time to correct the grievous problems with our election fraud system in time to stop another Gore like illegal election attempt in either 2002 or 2004. On the other hand, her organized crime thug friends in the labor unions and other assorted thug groups have no problems mobilizing their goons/thugs/groups to support the continuing DNC election fraud efforts.
Look at the Va. and the NJ election results if you don't believe Hillary can win.
President Bush is a fine, decent man. He defeated the machine once - by God's grace. It will take divine intervention again for the Hildebeast and her demonic hordes to be stopped again.
My suggestion - PRAY! and Work like America is over tomorrow unless we all work harder than we have ever done - because Hitlery's vision of glory is to be a Roosevelt type "transformer" - come to the rescue after after a depression and during a "war". She can TASTE being in that position of power and sneers at anything and anyone in her way. She is ruthless enough to destroy anyone who poses serious opposition to her through her goon squad.
Finally - because she is so hated by so many - I still believe she may run pretty boy Edwards in front and she as VP. Then, poor Edwards will lieterally have to be always watching his back ..........Just one possible scenario.
One that killed me was a month or so ago, he made a speech somewhere in Arizona, I think, at some holocaust museum. Two days before his speech, there was a fire at the museum and there was $200,000 worth of damage to the place, which, of course, will have to be repaid through donations.
Ask me if Clinton donated his $150,000 speaking fee that night?
I strongly disagree. It took me almost two years to read the series. It's essentially a post-graduate course in political science and social psychology. The comments are also of particular value.
I found a 120 mw diode today that may give me some interference patterns. Let's hope it works.
Even if it was 50,000 freepers X 4 votes or 8 votes, that's quite an impact. . . . especially if Freepers in key areas REALLY pulled out all the stops.
I don't think it will more than slow down the arrival of tyranny but we must do what we can. We will be held accountable. There is a test. . . And slowing the process down is a lot better than ignoring it or speeding it up.
