No article, but some very moving photographs of post-Taliban Afghanistan. I found the photos via a link from Instapundit.
TOPICS: Miscellaneous; News/Current Events
Personally, I though the first photograph was the best of the lot.
Please .... You need to post a direct link to the photos.

It must be stunning to all those Arabs and other anti-Americans see Afghanis loving their newfound freedom, brought to you by yours truly the US. My favorite picture is the one of the guys playing soccer on the field where the fiendish Taliban used to execute people.
very cool photos...must be like waking up from a 5 year nightmare.

Glad you like the photos, I seem to have struck a nerve. I wanted people to see how happy the Afghans are. It was ridiculous to ever think they wanted to live like that.
There's some amusing bitching about my choice of titles over at Democrats Underground. They don't understand what anyone might have against Peter Jennings.

I think these gals look beautiful, full stop . . .
Aesthetically speaking, the Afghans are a good-looking people, on the whole. Iranians are nice looking, too.

Look at the horror in their eyes! The terror inflicted by our evil bombs, by the evil American capitalist pig war machine! Can't you see the women asking why? why? in the face of our horrible agression? Oh wait, that's the pre-strike photographs...
