Not only are we dependent upon foreigners for our oil - vital in time of war - but over 700 American steel mills and related industries in the U.S. have shut down and we are now dependent on Russia for steel. Besides steel, cobalt - the additive to make steel "stainless" - comes from two countries under communist influence, e.g., Russia and So. Africa!

Actually I was being sarcastic about this in my post. The ACLU was founded by Roger Baldwin who was a socialist and supported many communist ideals. Basically, the ACLU is un-American. They do not acknowledge the 2nd amendment as an individual right!
So the "home-grown Taliban" have bombed America and threatened to destroy this nation. And these are the people whom we are busily bombing, or whatever we are doing, at the moment?
A couple of wing-nuts with links to the Christian Identity knuckle-draggers at Elohim City, and the Aryan Republican Army (ARA), bombed the Murrah Federal Building in OKC and killed 160+.
On another front, the "Army of God" has claimed responsibility for a series of bombings involving abortion clinics and gay bars.
So - YES - the home-grown Taliban is carrying out a bombing campaign against America. Here's their "mission statement":
"We are going to build the Kingdom of our God on this continent if we have to turn it into a Bosnia first! Death may find you in front of your one-eyed church of Satan or in the filthy bingo parlors where you worship your devil god, but be sure that you will not escape the consuming fire that is the real baptism of the Holy Ghost, The God of Racial Israel."
The home-grown Taliban will kill lots more, they just need a little extra time: several generations of in-breeding results in low IQs and limited organizational skills.
I believe that I have been reading posts indicating possible connections to Iraq. That event occurred on Klinton's watch. I trust Klinton Administration investigation of crime as much as I trust an investigation by the Keystone Kops.

Check out Tabernacle of Hate: Why They Bombed Oklahoma City by Kerry Noble, to learn the motivation for the bombing, and In Bad Company : America's Terrorist Underground by Mark S. Hamm, for the connections between McVeigh and the Aryan Republican Army.
The motivation for the OKC bombing was not Waco, as many have speculated, but revenge for the execution of Richard "Wayne" Snell - a white supremacist convicted of murdering a black Arkansas State trooper and for robbing and killing a Texarkana pawnbroker that he mistakenly thought was a Jew.
In l983, Snell had plotted with some other radicals to bomb the Murrah building a relatively lightly guarded office complex with numerous federal agencies. Before a bombing could be carried out, though, the plan was put on hold when the bomb builder severely injured himself and the rest of Snell’s gang was arrested for various crimes including conspiracy to overthrow the government.
By 1995, Snell had exhausted all his appeals and, of all dates possible, the state of Arkansas set his date for execution April 19 "Patriots Day" and the second anniversary of the fiery deaths of the Branch Davidians.
Suddenly, several far-right groups began making threats of retaliation if their "patriot hero" were killed by the government. Snell added to the tension, promising there would be serious consequences if he were executed. He even told prison guards there would be a bombing.
"Army of God? The Salvation Army?"
