I have no kids so I'm not exposed to many cartoons. The only cartoons I can sit through are the Simpsons (best show in the last 10 years!), King of the Hill and old Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny.

Oh I wouldn't say I was popular .. we just did silly stuff ..

My mom worked so we got away with stuff .. hehe

Once the boys in the neighborhood thought it would be funny to knock on the door and throw water balloons at us girls .. except as they were knocking .. I got the idea to go to the second floor window and dump a pail of water on their heads .. next thing I knew we had to water hose going .. good grief .. I still don't know how we got that house cleaned up before my mother got home .. lol

They hubby got the girls to watch The Three Stooges .. they all sit there and laugh .. I don't know .. I still don't get it .. lol

Both my parents worked so our house was the local gathering place. We had many water disasters! (bringing the hose in the house the final straw!)

I watch south park when I run across it.. the one with bin laden was a new classic "hucka, hucka, America is jerka, jerka"! Stooges rule! but only the ones with Curly.

I had a lot of final straws .. which might explain why I was punished so much .. lol

Well I must be heading .. I have to go Christmas Tree shopping tomorrow .. plus I'm thinking about buying one of the Santa and Raindeer sliegh light thingys to put on the porch roof ..

It seems the neighbors are going hog wild over the Christmas Lights this year and I just hate to be out done .. hehe

sorry to disappear last night, but k's dad needed emergency surgery,
so we spent our fifth evening this week at the Washington County Hospital.

he seems to have pulled through well enough for an eighty year old,
and will probably outlive his son-in-law, who has seen enough
of hospitals this year to last a half-dozen lifetimes ...

I see they just had an earthquake in northern Alabama - it's close to Tennessee and TN gets earthquakes frequently. The Alabama folk are freakin' out though over a 3.9 quake.

They even notice a 3.9?????
