Note...I understand this post may be against the rules or an irritant but I've had these questions for quite some time and have held off asking them in an effort to find answers myself. Obviously, I haven't been competely successful. Please excuse me if I am out of line...

I understand "Cheese" (reference to whining, correct?) but, what about "Moose, we control all your bases" (Or, whatever the correct term is) and the reference to Ted Nugent (I know he's a Conservative)? What are the basic and literal definitions of these?

Oh dear...here we go again!!! Also, you haven't mentioned Lazmataz's sister, who was bitten by said moose!

AYBABTU

Got money? Go wireless uplink.

Check your motherboard, you might not be able to change the processor to make much of a difference. I would recommend a Gateway refurbished if money is tight. Many of those are new in the box, just returned from customers or closed stores.

That's good info...Thanks!

One thing I found VERY interesting...

Concerning Dan Rather and "What's the Frequency Keneth"...

I am familiar with the song. And with Dan, of course. But what I NEVER knew (Or, now assume to be true) is the lore of someone beating the hell out of Rather and then saying that to him. Did this REALLY happen? And, what even surprised me a bit more is that REM wrote the song based on the suposed lore? I've never heard this. I simply assumed the song "What's the Frequency Kenneth" was just another one of their songs that I can't, or don't care to listen to close enough to fully understand.

So, am I correct? The inncident suposedly happened and then REM wrote a song about it? If so, HILARIOUS!!!

And how about "Moose"

As the elephant is the symbol of the GOP, and the Dems are an ass, a drugged-up, cross dressing, athiest moose is the symbol of the Libertarian party. ;-)

or was that a picture of Harry Browne?

actually, it is a Monty Python and the Holy Grail reference

OK...So, "Moose" refers to Libertaians? Somewhat in an unflattering way...?

As for Monty Python...No references to it will help me understand anything. I can't STAND Monty Python. No offense to anyone who does...I LOVE The Simpsons!

Any help on "All your bases are belong to us"?

ted nugent is quite possibly the most articulate, best educated, and gentlemanly advocate of the second amendment as may now exist in the world. truly, to listen to this man is to be swept away by what the power of oratory is.

all your base is belong to us.
