Two lesbians who stabbed a 13 year old boy at a party have been found guilty of attempted murder.

Lewes Crown Court heard how Lorraine Large and Gemma McGarvie dragged the boy to a park and stabbed him before leaving him for dead.

Judge Richard Brown said: "This was an horrendous, unprovoked attack on a young child. On the face of it only a substantial custodial sentence is to follow."

Richard Anelay QC, prosecuting, said the boy had attended a party at McGarvie’s home last December. He had become sick after drinking cider.

The boy was stabbed 23 times in his chest, back and legs. His throat had been slit.

Both women blamed each other for the attack. McGarvie said Large stabbed the boy "while grinning like a Cheshire cat".

She said that Large had to wash her hands when they returned to the flat because she had "just touched a dirty nigger".

Large retaliated, she said that McGarvie had said: "The little bastard`s still breathing. I`m going to finish him off."

Witnesses saw the women drag the youth outside. They took with them a red-handled craft knife and a carving knife.

Another party guest said that Large had confessed to her that she had stabbed the boy. She said Large was very calm as she said: "He is dead. I have stabbed him. He`s in a really bad way."

The case has been adjourned until 25 January for pre-sentence reports.

To be fair, they only attempted to murder the child who apparently survived (though he ended up in grave condition). Most countries (this crime was in Britian, wasn't it?) treat attempted murder as a lesser crime than actual murder -- apparently they think that people too incompetent to "get it right" deserve less severe punishment.

Boy this is going to be a tough one for the aclu (can't bring myself to capitalize it). Do they support/defend their lesbian sisters or do they help the young adolescent who was stabbed? Based on comments made by his lovely assailants, Butch and Spike, the young man's race was important enough to be mentioned and could likely, therefore be a factor in the motivation behind this horrendous act. My God, they stabbed him 23 times and slit his throat!

I don't believe in hate crimes, I believe crime is crime and should be litigated equitably. However, since the lunatic left has given us hate crime legislation, this case certainly meets the parameters of the definition of hate crime.
