Let's see how the 'conservatives' in government react to this.

Behold the advent of Big Brother.

Digital Angel to the rescue.
When I was in K-9 on the PD I saw the vet put a chip under my dog's skin, right between his shoulder blades. He used a hypodermic needle and the whole thing only took a few seconds.

We're at war now.
If you've done nothing wrong, you've nothing to fear.
The grownups are in charge now.
It's for the children.

As a dog lover the Vet also offered one for my two pooches but I declined. I can see this technology being very useful for certain medical problems but as a means of identification I shall reist with every breath of life I have.
I for one visualize the VPC demanding that only those with such a chip be allowed to own any firearms as merely another reasonable resriction.

Sounds like a good idea to track aliens who come here.

I didn't see it when they did it to our latest cat but they told me about it when I picked her up at the shelter. Gave me this whole, it's the law it has to be done spiel, even after I explained that she is not going to be an outdoor cat. Personally I don't like it and now seeing that it's 'available' for us it makes me even more irate. Wonder how long it will be before it's the law. Guess I'll be a lawbreaker then

Really don't mind if you sit this one out,
My words but a whisper, your deafness a shout.
I may make you feel, but I can't make you think...
Your sperm's in the gutter, your love's in the sink.
So you ride yourself over your fields,
And you make all your animal deals
And your "wise men" don't know how it feels...
To be thick as a brick... I always remember this verse when I talk to liberals...
