Probably just one of the many untold stories of that near forgotten time. I'm glad someone valued that Silver Certificate so little that it was able to get back to those that valued it so highly.

I was thinking the same about the silver certificates. I always look for those and silver quarters. Would you have tried to find the signers if you had received it for change?
