The only bright spot is to see those morons firing in the air, and to hope that several bullets eliminate some of them from the gene pool.

Stop the guilt, please.

Did you ever misunderstand me. I should have put on a sarcasm off symbol.

Did you ever hear about the Marine Corps officer who announced in the South Pacific during WWII, "Men, it is the duty of every Japanese to die for their empiror, and it is our duty to help them do so!"

Read better the next time.

"Support for Arabs plummets in America"

Support is still too high. It should be lower.

Take the oil out of the equation and then see the real results.

Exactly, and makes me furious that we are still discussing ANWR. This is a no brainer, there is no rationale not to drill there. We better get our heads screwed on straight and start being more energy self sufficient.

And when you consider the poll was done by Zogby it makes the results all the more interesting. He does have a way with the special sauce to elicit the answers he desires.

People aren't working to "discredit" our relationship with Arab states. The Arabs are doing a marvelous job of that all by themselves. When citizens from the Arab states begin to behave less like barbarians and more like civilized people, then maybe the poll numbers will begin to rise again. This is not! our fault. This problem lies with the Middle Eastern states themselves and cannot be resolved until they decide that they will live side-by-side with their neighbors around the world, in a peaceful and law-abiding way. Until then, Zogby can go pound sand.

Well said! The Islamic religion seems to be part bully, and part coward. The bullies blow up planes, dance halls, and buildings of non-combatants and the cowards sit by and don't condemn these actions or do anything to stop them.

To turn the tide of anti-Islamic opinion, all that we need to see is the "good" muslim turning in the "bad" muslim in the name of doing what is right. (The unibomber's brother turned him in, lets get with the program Zogby.)

The Zogby making that statement was James Zogby not John Zogby. Brothers but not the same person. I suspect that John might have some of the same feelings but would be silent for professional reasons.

Don't you think the Arabs should reconsider their "policies" in the same way they admonished us to change our policies?

The Palestinians put little children into suicide bomber costumes. I think seeing that photo is good for quite a large point drop. Americans recoil in disgust from those images. They really need to engage Americans in a positive way.

. They do need to grow up from their medievial culture, and we must help them do so, no matter what.

Thats funny that you mention that. Go into any academic setting and you will find professors talk and talk about the dark ages of europe and how Christianity was exclusive. They will point out how it gave special privelages to the cleric class, how it denied education to the average person, how it forcefully converted people, how it discouraged science in order to preserve its own power, and how it excluded undesirables like women in the church.

Yet when you suggest that Islam today is going through the same type of period (which it is) the professors go ape$hit defending Islam to the point of outright hypocrisy. Such is the world of leftist PC.

OF COURSE! Look, the USA came out and made it official policy to support the creation of a Palestinian state. What quid pro quo did we get in return? Did the Saudis apologize for invading Israel, or state that they too support the creation of the Jewish state? NO. They did nothing of the kind. They continued their propeganda and demanded that we not attack any Arab state in the war on terror. 15 Saudis attacked us, and they pointed their fingers at Afganistan. It doesn't wash in this household.

"Zogby blamed a "steady diet of anti-Arab information" for the swing in public opinion, "

I don't think so. For example, one small item in the press relating to the "shoe-bomber": Upon his arrest, he identified himself as "Abdul Rahim," yet, most news outlets, out of fear of muslim-miffing, censored this bit of info. Only after he was tied to Massaoui's London mosque, was it let out that he had muslim ties.

Most news organizations are "working overtime" to cast Arabs and Muslims in as positive a light as possible.

I posted these comments before from one of the "moderate" Arab leaders in my area but they bear repeating:

"The enemy of the Holy Land Foundation, the enemy of the Muslim people, is Israel and its supporters in the United States," said Rafeeq Jaber, president of the Palos Hills-based Islamic Association for Palestine, which organized the rally. "They're not going to let anyone help the Palestinian people survive and struggle for their freedom."

The United States should give these guys the same kind of support as we gave Hitler and the Nazis in the '40s.

Yep. All these Arab leaders seem to do is blame others. No sense of responsibility, and the USG and US Media does everything they can to cover for them.

As well, those same egg-heads will portray medieval Islam as "tolerant" treating their dhimmi with respect. The fact that they're parroting revisionist Islamic history and whitewashing the perpetual Jihads and the destruction of Eastern Christianity tells you a lot about the state of our institutes of lower learning.

I am one of the switcheroos reflected in this poll. My views of Egypt has changed only marginally downward, but that of the Palestinians and Arafat have tanked. Between rejection of the Barak peace offer, the subsequent violence, and the reaction to the WTC disaster, it was all too much. Saudi Arabia went into the dog house when I learned about its financing here there and everywhere of militant Muslim Imman's and schools, and sluggishness in assisting in cutting off the money to the bad guys.

In October, respondents explained their negative attitude to the Arab states because of their "relations with terrorists," that "one can't know what their position is," and because "they can't be trusted."

'Bout sums it up.

Isn't it the most amazing thing? Just a scant few months ago, they couldn't get in enough ADL bashing, even though they KNEW that most of us couldn't agree with most of anything the ADL stood for, except for the fact that we are Jewish. Suddenly, the Arab *street* decides that it's just okay to murder Americans at will for THEIR god, and the JDL is somehow to blame...who never murdered ANYONE.
Suddenly our best buddy in the Near East, good ole Saudi Arabia, shows its true colors and lo and behold!!! They are our absolute WORST enemy, have been for decades, while being allowed to procure state of the art technology from all over the world, including, but by no means limited to, us, US. And who do they plan to destroy with all this wonderful technology? Why US, of course.
If I was a CIA operative, I would find my way into bill clinton's house because I just know Bin Laggin' is there to watch the Super Bowl on the big screen. The secret service probably thinks he's a genie. bill sure can pick'em.
Do I hate Arabs? Not hardly. But I don't hardly like most of them much anymore either. It's the MUSLIM Arabs who have my animosity by their own choice. They wanted it, they asked for it, they got it. I'm a giving kind of person.
So, you jerks who lost every argument you ever started about anything Arab or Jewish, using whatever sticky little scam you could from the Liberty to the Intifada starting all because Sharon went to the Temple Mount, to whether or not the *palestinians* were a legitimate people, to whether or not Israel could *occupy* its OWN country, are just losers. Maximum losers. This JDL thing will go just about that far. And for all that, here is some very valuable advice. Stick it in your ear, YOU PROVERBIAL LOSERS.

I think we're getting the sequence: first it's a member of the Amen Corner, then JDL, THEN liberal.

Or does liberal come first, THEN Amen Corner, then JDL?

Or is it JDL, THEN liberal, then Amen Corner?

Or do they mix up the three like they were dealing cards?

"Yes, but I'm not questioning about the illiterate goat herder in Bumsqaq, Egypt, I'm wondering about the muslim leadership which have remained almost entirely silent. Silence does speak volumes sometimes."

About 2 weeks after 9-11, There was a show with a bunch of young Arabs (I think it was Niteline). They spoke their condemnation of US foreign policy with uninterrupted contempt. One self-righteous young Syrian student scolded, "You know, we Arabs believe that when you remain silent, it means you give approval."

I wish I had it on tape. Of course, this means that the Arabs approve of beheading non-muslims in the Philippines, burning churches in Indonesia, imprisoning of christian converts in numerous nations, slavery in Mauritania, the butchering of 20,000 people in city of Homs, in the young lady's home country of Syria, not to mention the ongoing Arab racism practiced against the Kurds, the Berbers, the Black Sudanese, as well as the Afghans.

I called my family so they could witness this stern but thoroughly ridiculous young woman pontificate. Oh, how I wish I had it on tape!

The arab moslems continues to live in a dreamland, they murdered more than 3000 inocent unsuspecting Americans(and even some Arabs), and the arab countries shouts, death to America, and are shocked that arabs are not popular in the USA. Now it's easy to understand, why they are willing to strap C4s around their waist, and crash 767s into buildings to blow up Christians, and Jews. Still, it's a big mystery to zogby why Americans don't like arabs, what kind of a pollster is this guy? He is an arab, I quess.

Finally a poll I can believe. Maybe if Arab (Muslim) countries would get their head out of the sand, and start publicly and loudly denouncing terrorist activities, public opinion would change.

Yea, like that will ever happen. Silence is golden, their silence on the Islamic terrorists shows support for terrorists. In their own words "kill the infidels".

JDL. ADL. Mossad. Amen Corner. Israel firsters. Et al.

You people are driving me crazy. You have no consideration. The annual dues add up if you have us belonging to all those organizations simultaneously. Lets decide on one organization and cut down on expenses.

And what happened to Mark Rich? He was the Zionist organizational villian de jour. You guys are just too fickle.

Zogby blamed a "steady diet of anti-Arab information" for the swing in public opinion, saying that "those who are seeking to disrupt and discredit the relationship are working overtime."

"Work must be done and it should begin before more damage occurs," he stressed.

But, wait! I thought pollsters were unbiased. I thought they just wanted information, not to push an agenda. You mean it ain't so? (sniff) Oh, say that isn't true. Say the pollsters aren't biased. (sniff).

As a Christian I found (find) their tactics disgusting. I think FR has been inflitrated, particularly the last few weeks, with a number of Pan Arab Islamics including "palestinians" who have made common cause with the aryan bunch. These have come on this site with their baiting tactics and zionist conspiracy tactics to sow divisions among Jews and Christians especially. Raimondo is one of their priests as well lighting his zionist fires wherever and whenever he can.

>>His statements mean, in other words, Americans are dupes and stupid.<<

I'm afraid that I seriously agree with this statement, generally speaking. And all the proof I need is this:

1. They elected Clinton
2. They elected Clinton again.
3. They almost elected Gore.

Keep in mind that numbers two and three happened after there was already ample evidence of just what kind of people these folk are.

I can't quote him precicely, but P.J. Oroarke (sp?) once wrote: Do you have a hard time understanding why the american people elect the officials they do? Well, have you seen the movies and TV they watch? Have you listened to their popular music? He11, have you been to the mall and seen 'em?

Go to the mall and "see them." Your eyes will be opened.

Arab American groups have called the results "shocking," saying that the figures show a dramatic shift in Americans' attitude toward the Arab world.
Zogby blamed a "steady diet of anti-Arab information" for the swing in public opinion...

I was convinced that Muslim Arabs are subhuman after constantly reading BS that pretends to believe the nonsense that rhetoric is more important than deeds, and that Muslim Mass Murder is equally invisible to normal people as it is to Muslims worldwide.
And if history can be characterized as "anti-Arab information", then yes, that is a fact.
However, history is neutral; and simply being able to see that other cultures and countries abandoned barbarism 500 years ago, and that Muslim Arabs did not, simple forces us all to embrace the reasonable conclusion.

It is us or them.
And it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when.
And sooner will be a lot easier than later.

Lent: A lot of them aren't "arabs", they are left-identity Americans or westerners. Can tell by their postmodern lingo and ritual lefty obsessions. It's an interesting alliance between the left-identity, "arabs," and "right wing" anti-semites. Both are absolutely unconcerned with facts or perspective, language is only for the maintenance of their adversarial identities as anti-American/Western reactionaries, which the rise of left-wing anti-semitism works to reinforce.

I think it's a good sign they're here...obviously they think it's worth posting here. Their jew obsessions won't be changed, but maybe they'll open their minds in other ways. Or they could be Saudi-funded "peace group" disruptors. But I think they are legitimate, though working off talking points some of them (the AOL chat rooms are full of such reiterators). I can tell by their encyclopedic knowledge of all the crackpot web sites on the issue! Also look at their history of posts--all about israel or jews, nothing else. Lars, a member since today, is a perfect example.

The Arab lobby in Washington is blaming the "anti-Arab propaganda campaign" that has been waged since the September 11 attacks for the shift in attitude.

Gimmeafrigginbreak

Everytime I turn on the tube, some brainless drama, some stupid sitcom, or one the endless inane "News" magazine shows is doing a segment about "Islam is Pease", or how it's just a few extremists, not Islam as a whole that's causing all the death and destruction.

The only propaganda I'm hearing seems to be in their favor. Doesn't seem to be working to well, does it?
