And this is such a great state... lots of water, meats, grain, dairy, minerals, and jobs... but when it comes to politics... oh well, they are not gettin rid of me with mindlessness... Yah-know. I'm a Nord-Easter (N.E.MPLS)... at least I know thiers others fighting here...

Greetings from a former Nordeaster, now in Maplewood. We really have to concentrate on defeating Wellstone. Norm may not be the best, byt Paully sure is the worst!

There must be something in the air over on the MTV set. That's the same place that Al Bore did his little talk about how the US Constitution is a living, breathing document that be interpreted differently at different times.

I forget the exact wording, but there was that time that Bill referred to China as a "former Communist country", or something similar. Anyone have Chairman Bill's Little Red Book® handy for the exact quote?

Clinton in Buffalo 1 day after state of the unnion, I think 1999. "I would support a tax cut, (applause from mostly democratic audiance)) but I'm not sure we can trust how you will spend the money."

I remember that - it got alot of airplay here in Rochester - he got soundly booed on that one -

Along with your quotes, I'd like to hear this from Bill;

Hillary, algore, and myself will be moving to China, along with Alec and Julia. We are giving up our citizenship and burning our passports once there.

Other good Clinton quotes about how we're too free:

If the personal freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution inhibit the government's ability to govern the people, we should look to limit those guarantees.
-- President Bill Clinton, August 12, 1993

The United States can't be so fixed on our desire to preserve the rights of ordinary Americans . . . .
-- Bill Clinton, March 1, 1993, during a press conference in Piscataway, N.J. (Boston Globe, 3/2/93, page 3; and USA Today, 3/11/93

. . . unfortunately, we can't control the actions of everyone.
-- Bill Clinton, April 20, 1993

When we got organized as a country and we wrote a fairly radical Constitution with a radical Bill of Rights, giving a radical amount of individual freedom to Americans, it was assumed that the Americans who had that freedom would use it responsibly . . . [However, now] there's a lot of irresponsibility. And so a lot of people say there's too much freedom. When personal freedom's being abused, you have to move to limit it.
-- Bill Clinton, MTV's "Enough is Enough," March 22, 1994

BTW, when Clinton said this, he was NOT referring to Osama, or to China, or any communist country. He was referring to Republicans. Our kind Prez openly stated that he wanted to "cut out" Republicans. And again, the mainstream press said nothing.

How about Hildabeast saying "I can't be responsible for every under capitalized business." when asked if her Nationalized Health Care system would bankrupt small business throwing tens of thousands of people out of work.

The arrogant bitch......

"You know, I didn't have knowledge..."

"Like I said, I'm very disappointed..."

"I didn't have any knowledge..."

"When I found out, I was very disappointed..."

Hitlery Clinton being questioned by the press after it was discovered Hugh Rodham had taken money from one of his cronies in order to buy a pardon from Clinton on the way out the door of the White House. SCUM.

Maybe I have a different take on SCUMBAG, but it seems to me that he spoke, and spoke, and spoke, and spoke. Softly, loudly, interminably. As far as sticks are concerned, apparently SCUMBAG only waved his with his left hand, and he often needed the assistance of an intern to accomplish even that...
