Ease His Pain
After Jane Fonda dumped Ted Turner over his serial cheating, she asked Bo Derek to help ease his loneliness.
In her new autobiography "Riding Lessons," Derek reveals that Fonda begged her to date Turner after their spring 2000 split.
"She told me she loved him and that she just wanted him to be happy and that he was a great lover," she writes.
Fonda also told her, "He knows how to be faithful now."
Derek was sold and agreed to go out with Turner. "I spent the next two weeks dying, wondering how I would handle the next part of this drama," she recalls. "Ultimately, he never called."

"She told me she loved him and that she just wanted him to be happy and that he was a great lover," she writes. I had this exact, same, recurrent dream when I was 14 years old.

I now truly understand the word "canckles".
My God, has that woman no knees! I think I am going to turn gay after seeing this picture, I better stare at Bo Derek for a minute. Whoa, that was close.
To: Hillary's Lovely Legs
This is absolute bunk! I know Bo Derek , and Bo would never stoop that low!
Also...Jane Fonda was the worst lover I ever had.
To: Hillary's Lovely Legs
Why would Bo (a Republican) date a UN loving, satanic, burned-out bison farmer when she could go out with a REAL man like me?

Because Bo is a RINO!
A chance to date Bo Derek and Turner never called. The man's insane.
To: donozark
My question exactly!
To: catonsville
No, he's a leftist.

Her husband that took from high school to the big time, and was also ohhh I don't 75 years older than Bo, died a few years ago.
To: WileyCoyote22
John Derek died May,1998. He also had been married to Linda Evans. Bonanza.

Linda Evans. Bonanza."The Big Valley"
To: WileyCoyote22
Maybe Jane Fonda has some kind of complex and believes Bo Derek would need or want her leftovers.

To: catonsville
Ahh yes. Thoughts of her (them) have made me jealous for years now...John Derek was a lucky guy. I recall seeing a TV show where Bo was with one or even both (?) of his ex-wives. Actually in the SAME room! Doing that with my ex's would be akin to tossing two cats in a sack and suspending the sack from a tree limb!

BONANZA!!! Bite your unAmerican tongue. No lass EVER survived Bonanza...any romance with any Cartwright was a death sentence.
Evans was BIG VALLEY. (Yes, apologies are accepted.)

"She told me she loved him and that she just wanted him to be happy and that he was a great lover," she writes.Isn't Jane Fonda the woman who said something like, ``If you knew what communism was you would get down on your knees a beg for it''? If she's as wrong about Turner as she was about that...
To: eddie willers, xzins
Whip me 3 times and call me an ugly woman! Better yet, let Linda, Ursela and Bo whip me 3 times (each) and call me anything they want!

Hmmmm! Don't know how much credence to give to this. Bo never said anything to me about it.

Like the "Star Trek" landing parties:
"Spock....I need you, Bones, Scottie, and Ensign Stiles".
Stiles has got no more future than Mrs. Cartwright. : )
To: eddie willers
Kirk and ensigns....sigh. Bedded and deaded.

"The Big Valley" Correct -- however, I believe John Derek also nursed a secret hankering for Hoss Cartwright.

I've read this before and comment on it now even as I did then. As much as I would love for this account to be true in its entirety, the fact that the reference year mentioned not once but twice is 1978, I would remind all readers that our involvement in the Vietnam Cambodia Laos theater ended by every measure in 1975.
The US was not involved militarilly in any way in this theater during the Carter Administration.
To: Hillary's Lovely Legs
Turner must really be a maniac for Fonda to be so desperate and afraid of him that she would fake being a Christian because it is the one thing she knew would help her escape him. Now she seems desperate to get his focus on someone else, anyone else. Throw the laundry maid at him, lol.
To: eddie willers
Being married to Ursula Andress, Linda Evans and Bo Derek is what I would call a bonanza. Doffing my hat to this former great one (John Derek).
To: donozark
But I heard that he has a Happy Face engraved on his tombstone.....
